I decided on a pair of the 10x50s and went with this brand based on friends' recommendations and testing out some other brands. While they are quite a bit heavier than the 42mm version, I felt that it was worth the sacrifice for better low-light performance as the FOV is still decent. I avoided the 12x magnification due to concerns that it can be more difficult to quickly locate a target and remain steady. Overall, I am very happy with these binos. They are rugged, stylish, and produce a great image. I would buy again
This is not a professional review as I am not a professional in this area. I am just a simple user who wanted a pair of binoculars to use for hiking; occasional bird/animal watching and playing around with the kids. I am extremely impressed by the clarity, brightness, and image details . This thing is just amazing; very good build quality; premium touch and feel ; and most importantly excellent performance and image quality/clarity. I love it; no regrets. and for the record I got the 10x50 and I am glad I didn't get the 12x50 as it would be more difficult to hold steady; I am very pleased with the 10x50; I love the magnification level, the brightness level and the overall image quality.
Binoculars worked well. Appeared to be high quality. The latch on the case was broken. Cost 23$ to return. What a disappointment. If you purchase these beware, defective units cost you money. Suggest buying locally or from a supplier which pays for return shipping.
