NEW - In an Australian first, you can now check-in to your domestic Virgin Australia flight using just your voice.

Welcome to the Virgin Australia Alexa skill!

Alexa now supports voice check-in for Velocity members who have linked their accounts for upcoming domestic flights.~ You can also hear flight status information*, and if you are a Velocity Frequent Flyer member and have linked your account, your points balance including membership status, information about your upcoming flight including status, booking reference and boarding gate details (where available).

To hear flight status, say:
“Alexa, ask Virgin Australia for the flight status of 970, today”
“Alexa, ask Virgin Australia to find the flight status by cities”

To hear your Velocity points balance or upcoming flight information you’ll need to first link your Velocity account. Tap or click the “ENABLE” button on the Virgin Australia skill, click the “SETTINGS” button and you will be able to securely log in with your Velocity number and password.
Then try:
“Alexa, ask Virgin Australia to check me in~”
“Alexa, ask Virgin Australia to check the status of my flight”
“Alexa, ask Virgin Australia what my boarding gate is”
“Alexa, ask Virgin Australia for my booking reference”
“Alexa, ask Virgin Australia for my flight number”

To hear Velocity Information, try:
"Alexa, ask Virgin Australia for my points balance"
“Alexa, Ask Virgin Australia for my velocity number”
