I read this book as a teen and it popped up when I was looking for books to read on vacation. I had forgotten where the story goes but I was starting to expect things though I don't know if I predicted them the first time or not. I definitely enjoyed it both times and have intended to continue in the series I just got distracted with a different series but intend to get back to this one soon.
My all time favorite!Reviewed in the United States on 23 April 2017
I read this book (and it's sequel Silver Eyes) back in 2003 when I was in the 8th grade. I was immediately in love with the books. I got violet colored contacts so I could look like Angel and I made fan videos of scenes from the books with my friends after I got them into them. I was obsessed and I still am! I re-read them at least once a year! I was so excited when more books came out (Angel Eyes and Golden Eyes) and hope for more! Thanks to the amazing author Nicole Luiken for creating such an interesting story and such amazing characters!
I've loved this book since I was a teenagerReviewed in the United States on 11 August 2014
I've loved this book since I was a teenager! It was captivating to me. :) Nicole Luiken is a fantastic author. I once wrote her an email telling her how much she inspired me, and she responded to me. It made me love this series even more.

Not bad for teen-agers, I guess.Reviewed in the United States on 1 June 2003
The book treats us to a simplistic future world, characters with no complications, ultra-smart super-kids without the "smart" and the "super", and the WORST set of clues left by a bad guy EVER.
