Product description

Product Description

Contessa Dahl has spent most of her life in a daze. A rudderless orphan, most decisions involved her fists and feet: should she fight or should she run? At twenty-eight, she’s ready to clean up her act, but Tess might be a bit premature because she’s destined to be a special kind of leader.

Born into a group of desert-dwelling telepathic descendants of Vikings, Tess was meant to become a link for them all—their queen and conduit. Her kidnapping and the subsequent death of her parents meant her people, the Afótama, have had a hole in their web for too long. Now that she’s back at home, it’s Tess’s job to mend it. But, she can’t do it alone.

She needs a perfect mate to fill in her psychic gaps, and two men claim to be fated for the job. Harvey Lang, her childhood champion, and the group outsider Oliver Gilisson would fight to the death to win her. However, to gain full control of her considerable power, she must find a way to keep them both.

THE VIKING QUEEN'S MEN is an M/F/M ménage romance that contains hot sex, bar brawls, and psychic snark.

This was a really good story. I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series, that I already bought. The heroine grew up in foster care. She doesn't know who her real family is.
Then, she is brought into a group of people that she is related to, and it turns out they have special mental powers--and so can she. In fact, she is the Queen and they are descended from a special group of matriarchal Vikings who escaped to North America hundreds of years ago. And she finds out she has to pick her Chieftain to open up her powers. The thing is, there are two totally hot men vying for her.
I really liked all the characters (even the bitchy cousin Nadia). And I thought the way they developed through the story was really cool. It is really well-written in a very unique universe of mental powers and even a supernatural being.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE NORSETON! 30 May 2016

I binge read the stories centered around Norseton during an extended period of insomnia ...

Let me say this; These stories are WORTH losing a bit of sleep over! The Afotama, the wolves and Fae around the Hearth Motel all make entertaining reading. I actually read the wolves first, but I was so intrigued I had go back and play catch up!

3.0 out of 5 stars I did not like that Tessa was not as mad about being drugged 23 April 2016

I had this on my TBR list for awhile and decided to finally read it. This is set in modern times but deals with Vikings. It was a little bit odd but it kind of worked. I did not like that Tessa was not as mad about being drugged. Tess finds out that she is a descendant of royalty and is now a Queen but a queen needs a helper and apparently she now needs two. Something, that breaks with tradition. I enjoyed it but the ending was so abrupt. I literally had to go back and check to see if I messed something because I couldn't believe there was not a little bit of a resolution. So it just ended up being okay for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it 31 March 2015

I loved this book. The world building is interesting and unique. Loved the Norse Myth and Legends. What's not to love about Viking Alpha Males and kick ass females. The characters are well defined as likeable. Would recommend to to anyone who likes Hot Alpha males, kick ass females, with psy abilities, menage with hot Alpha Vikings, and a interesting mystery involving missing children. The Fae make an appearance, I am hoping that shifters and maybe vampires will too. Looking forward to the next book!
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome series 6 December 2016

I'm going to preface this review with the comment that I generally avoid ménage stories..not my thing. I've read a couple of books later in the series (out of order) and just had to back up and start at the beginning. I'm glad I did. Queen Tess's background is sad, and her ability to adapt and roll with the Vikings, psychics, and her web make this a quick read for me. Already bought the next 2, and I love that there are 3 interconnected series.
