A very good read.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 February 2018
I enjoy all John Gierach’s books. I don’t always agree with everything he says but generally agree with his outlook on fly fishing. I’ve got several of his books now and I’ve loved reading all of them.

Another well written book by John Gierach an author I have a great deal of space in my libruary for. I have all the books he has ever written and only hope he has not stopped writing... it would be a very sad loss to anyone who enjoys a good and often funny read.
Classic GierachReviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 October 2013
Not just about fishing but about the countryside, friendships and life in general. Gierach always manages to educate and amuse at the same time
