Product Description

For fans of Sons of Anarchy, Kristen Ashley, Madeline Sheehan and Joanna Wylde. New York Times bestselling author Katie Ashley revs up the danger and sexual tension in her Vicious Cycle biker romance series.

Deacon Malloy's life is dedicated to the Hell's Raiders motorcycle club. Tough, hard, and fast with his fists, he serves the group as sergeant at arms. But his devil-may-care approach to life is thrown for a loop when the five-year-old daughter he never knew existed lands on the club steps.

Alexandra Evans is devoted to all her students - but there's always been something about Willow Malloy that tugs at her heart. There's an aura of sadness about her, a girl in need of all the love Alexandra can give. When Willow stops coming to school, Alexandra's search leads to a clubhouse full of bikers...and a father hell-bent on keeping his daughter always within sight.

The moment Deacon sees Alexandra, he has to have her in his bed - and he's never met a woman yet who couldn't be persuaded. No matter how attracted she is to Deacon, Alexandra refuses to be just another conquest. But it's Deacon himself who could be seduced - into a brighter future for himself, his daughter, and the woman he's falling for against all odds.

Want more sexy, gritty biker romance? Return to the dangerous and seductive world of the Hells Raiders motorcycle club in Redemption Road and Last Mile.

I've liked Katie Ashley's other books but never thought she could write like this! It's truly mind blowing. Nothing like you've read before - beware. Full of violence, sexual tension & shock, nonetheless it's a great read. I was often left shocked as the storyline unfolded - but Deacon and Alexandra are an atomic combination of good and bad, of kind and hard & of misunderstood souls. Makes for a great romance. I can't wait for the rest of this series. The beginning of this book - with Deacon's 5 year old daughter - Willow isn't ideal it's quite confronting ... But key to the story, so hang in there. Worth the shock and uncomfortable moments.

I bought this book because the description likened the author to some others who I love such as Joanna Wyld and Kristin Ashley. This author is not even close to being in the same league as those ladies. I didnt finish the book, it was unrealistic and at times confusing, I has to reread pages to ensure I hadnt missed a plotline or interaction between characters. The storyline was promising but the rest of it was ordinary.

Vicious Cycle is one of those motorcycle romance reads that I am guilty of loving, look you either like MC romance or you don't - please don't judge me as I love them. Probably it is the bad boy on the bike secret desires that us good Catholic girls have!

I love that we get a story that can sometimes be rough around the edges but then gives us a soft gooey feel good centre too. So my favourite part was the relationship between the daughter Willow and her dad Deacon but also the most beautiful and carefree Alexandra. I loved how these characters in the end found love, family and new beginnings.

Deacon was the gruff dad but I could see he was fighting his yearning to be that great dad all along, he was just afraid to make bad decisions and the supporting characters in the club made me laugh out loud. I also really was enamoured with the relationship between the mother and her sons, I loved Rev & Bishop too and cannot wait for their story!

Again, dual POV is my favourite as I get to see both sides of the characters feelings.

This story is easy to read, flows quickly and you will fall in love with Willow - she is just an angel child. It is funny that her dad is the big gruff biker who at the start barely hugs the child due to his own issues and by the end with Alexandra's help gives the father and daughter a new relationship that is just beautiful.

Do I love a sappy MC romance that I know is all fantasy - is the pope catholic? - again no judgement readers - just a sucker for romance I am.

Just on one negative I do think the price for this story is a little high for the type of read - yes I liked it but not for the $6.00 price tag in Australia.

Fantastic read, congratulation, Katie.

The book's direction went beyond my imagined predictions as we readers anticipated its release. In addition, it's a strong narrative and full of imagery as a result of Katie's 'I give you my all' outstanding writing ability. In this publication she seems to have developed even better skills when creating an excellent plot. She provides readers with intelligent and meaty rushed narrative, here.

The result was a storyline that kept you interested from start to finish packed with twists, surprises and emotional collisions.

The two main characters Deacon and Alexandra were perfectly defined, easy to take into our hearts and very desirable. Deacon was portayed as the iconic, hot, damaged alpha, mixed with a righteous disposition and eventually, a loving nature. Alexandra was beautiful, sensual, warm and had a deep character. She was also depicted as the perfect teacher, caregiver and strong female model. Willow, Deacon's daughter, was simply adorable. Without giving too much away, it was touching that Alexandra could give so much to Willow - effectively changing her direction. My only small peeve was Willow's precious token and her connection with it, could have been addressed to a greater extent and reflected upon more specifically through her eyes...maybe, it could have been put it to rest, as well. Just a thought, not a criticism.

Longing for the next two books as Deacon's brothers are featured. Thanks Katie, it was more than I imagined.
