This is my third pair of VFFs. Got them primarily to work out in. HHIT type training, weights mixed in with runs and such.
Anyway... Every time I tried wearing this pair, I would end up with blisters on the top of my feet, right above the ball.
It turns out that the Eyestay, that part that has the eyelets for the laces, is made of hard plastic.
Because, like other VFFs, they have a very soft, thin, and flexible upper, the upper really doesn't do enough to protect my foot against this hard plastic.
Previously, I only wore toe socks with VFFs in the winter, to help keep my feet warm. But with this design, I have to wear them every time.
Love the V-Trails, though. The sticky sole is lovely.
Also offputting are the tags attached to the shoe.
One says natural, eco friendly and the other tag warns the shoes contain cancer causing chemicals! WTF?!
