Very Merry Wingmen Christmas is a wonderful gift of a collection! I absolutely adore Daisy Prescott’s Wingmen series and it is has been a delight to witness each of these characters go from commitment avoidance to full on LOVE. Here we get the results of the “then comes marriage....” with each of the couples, plus two shorts featuring my very favorite curmudgeon, Olaf.
I love the sense of community and family that Daisy has built in these books. There are grumbles about the too-closeness on Whidbey Island, but they are out-measured by the way people turn out to support one another in good times and bad.
What this collection has also done is made me want to re-read the series again. I actually went back to the last book (Small Town Scandal) to check something and ended up re-reading it. As one does.
That all said, if you haven’t met the Wingmen - make it a point to do so - this is a series that really steals your heart.
