-Tactical yet subtle
-Has MOLLE attachment system
-Large main compartment
-Many pockets that allow for organization and ease of access
-Comfortable to carry on shoulders
-Adjustable laptop sleeve can fit my 14” laptop easily
-Zippers are heavy duty
-Has large pocket on back which uses their Velcro system call Tactigami for holding your pistol and clips
-Heavy when empty but using heavy weight durable materials
-A bit expensive
The Bottom Line:
This backpack is well constructed with heavy duty and durable materials. It has numerous pockets that allows you to keep things compartmentalized and keep you organized. I like the MOLLE attachment system (have to buy MOLLE attachments separately) since I have a few pouches that I can easily attach. I can fit my 14” laptop in this bag and fit my IFAK and other gear in this bag with no issues. The bag is comfortable to carry for long periods and feels secure on your back. There is a back pocket that uses Vertx’s Velcro system called Tactigami. Overall I would recommend this bag for someone looking for something tactical yet subtle.

Notable but things I neither like nor dislike:
+ Like others, the side pouches cannot hold containers > 3” in diameter well. But they are secure. I am going to get a GRAYL and hope it fits.
+ As others have noted: the zipper compartments can only have some flat items them when used with water bottles.
+ I like that the laptop diver can be removed. For business carry, I will be replacing it with a velcro laptop leave to free some volume in the main compartment.
+ Capacity is 9 litters smaller than my Osprey but better organization makes up for it.
+ Superior build quality to the Osprey it is replacing.
+ Ability to have off body carry and/or carry additional tools in a specialized compartment. This means I can open the main compartment without revealing the specialized tools.
+ I can stow or remove waist strap.
+ Velcro straps to tie up the slack on harness strap slack.
+ Ability to further customize storage through the use of Molle and/or Velcro bags.
+ The straps are not contoured to my body so my lower arms are hitting them. Your milagr may vary based on body shape.
+ Could include additional velcro restraining straps.
+ The side pouches could be a tab bigger.
Obviously if you’re looking at this you understand that it’s a very tactically oriented bag, but does not scream ‘tactical’ by having webbing all over it.
The hidden webbing area in the front is brilliant. Let’s me keep a first aid/trauma kit, a TQ, and a dual AR mag pouch 100% out of sight but still very accessible.
The side pockets are great for smaller organization areas.
If I had one complaint it would be that as others have said, if the side pockets are full or even half full, it makes it nearly impossible to put a water bottle in the outer ‘sleeve’ area. So I keep one side pocket less full than the other to accommodate my water bottle.
