No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan pushes the limits in her next novel in the Torpedo Ink series.
Isaak "Ice" Koval is on a club mission when he sees a woman who stops him dead in his tracks. Soleil is a sweet, sexy, girl-next-door type. She's an innocent who should be nowhere near the rough-and-ready world of the Torpedo Ink motorcycle club. But Ice knows Soleil belongs with him.
After a life of drifting from one thing to the next, Soleil Brodeur is determined to take control of her life. When her breakup with her manipulative fiancé turns ugly, Soleil searches out the stranger who offered her a lifeline and ends up in a Las Vegas biker bar where she meets a gorgeous, dangerous man straight out of her most secret fantasies.
High on adrenaline, she finds herself falling faster than she thought possible. But Soleil knows little about the territory she's stumbled into, and even less about what it really means to be Ice's woman . . .

The first 40+ percent of the book entailed graphic sex - porn really and almost no progress in the story line. The next 60% intermingled some story with the porn.
Don't get me wrong, I love a hot book but it still needs to tell the story and be interwoven with and progress more of the plot of the book and the over all series plot.
I spent a great deal of time flipping pages past the porn to find the story.
- 3rd book in Torpedo Ink (standalone) series
- Contemporary Romance/MC Romance
- Mild paranormal themes
- Utterly addictive read
It was only a few hours ago that I finished reading Vendetta Road , the third book in the Torpedo Ink series and I've just started re-reading Bound Together , the last book in the Sisters of the Heart series which introduces the men and women of Torpedo Ink and leads into the Torpedo Ink series.
It's not the first time I've re-read Bound Together, more like the fifth or sixth time that I've re-read the book, but after reading Vendetta Road, there wasn't any other book or series that I wanted to read, I just want to stay in the Torpedo Ink world for a little longer.
Christine Feehan, with the Torpedo Ink series has created characters that will crawl into your mind and heart and stay there and I guarantee that if you read these stories, you will find yourself thinking of the characters again and again, long after you've turned the last page of the book.
Vendetta Road was a book that took me by surprise.
I knew it was going to be a great read, because every book that I've read by Christine Feehan has always been that. What surprised me about this book were the main characters.
The romance, the chemistry, the fun that Ice and Soleil share was unexpected and beautiful and I think Ice's first view of Soleil is going to stick with me for quite some time. It was such an absolutely sweet and beautiful moment.
I know that this is a book that like, Bound Together, I'm going to find myself reading again and again.
Great job, Christine Feehan!
I look forward to reading the next book in the series: Desolation Road (releasing June 30,2020) - until then, I'll happily keep reading the Torpedo Ink series again.
My fav thing about these books (all Christine Feehan books) is the detail, you really feel like your there with the characters, she’s the best author I’ve ever read and I highly recommend this book, this series and all her other books.
Top international reviews
I must admit to being disappointed by this one though. Very little of world building and character development that is usually found, the characters felt a little shallow.
I thought it was just me, but having read some of the other reviews I see it's not.
At one stage in the book the MC feels he's been concentrating on sex too much and not given the partner enough of himself, I feel that is true for the whole book.
Firstly I must admit that I have not been too kind in my reviews of Me Feehans last few books, I like many others it would seem. can't get my head around how this amazing author who I have read for many years suddenly filled her pages with far too much sex and nowhere near the story content and careful characters building she had before, it is like a ghost writer took over her work load, very frustrating when we are all used to being absorbed from start to finish.
In seen reviews skating this latest Torpedo Ink book as being more of the same but I feel Ice had to have his story told that was relevant to his background and history, this man was trained from a young child in the art of sex, both to use it as a weapon a x to be in total control at all times, if you imagine for a minute what repercussions would arise from his conditioning then sex was always going to be both a problem and a hang up so in this instant e the amount of sexual content was absolutely right I feel.
It was good to catch up with the other characters that we know & love, the story was stronger than the authors recent offers be especially her Dark series which has really lost something vital over the last 5 books at least sadly, I look forward to the special lady that gets to put savage back together, and my fingers are firmly crossed that Alena finds her perfect match, my faith has been restored slightly MS Feehan, p!ease try not to let me down in other series lol
The subject matter is gritty and hard hitting and has to be approached with an open mind!!!!!!!!!
I liked this story, and I'm looking forward to the next one.
