Without doubt a very inspiration book and well worth a read. It will probably challenge many who don't see how it is possible to achieve the 'vagabonding' life but it simply means looking beyond the mundane.
This book is more about inspiration than practical information to my mind, although there is certainly plenty of that also inside. It is easy to read but some of the references and case studies in the chapter can be a little distracting at times.
It is certainly a wide world out there and although global communications has shorten the communications gap they may not have necessarily brought us closer together. The true secret that this book highlights is the joy of going out and discovering others and building relationships be seeing how they live and what is important to them. If anything that should be your inspiration to go out and experience the world through others eyes. It is something that can't be achieved as a tourist, you must be a traveler.
If you are looking for inspiration beyond your own little bubble then look no further than this book. I am pretty sure that after reading it your feet will start to itch and you'll start planning that trip. As the book encourages, do so as a traveler by seeking out the unexpected, unfamiliar and unaccustomed. That is where the essence of true vagabonding lies.
