Cruisin - Sarah Mlynowski : Not a bad little story about two girls that are on a cruise for a few days. They become friendly with another girl who shows them a magazine article about people disappearing from cruise ships and the somewhat outrageous story that it is Vampires who are responsible. Unfortunately I figured out the ending vry early on which somewhat spoilt it for me!
I Don't Like Your Girlfriend - Claudia Gray : This one I really liked. Cecily is a witch in training and off on a trip with her family and the families of the other members of her mother's coven. There's one particular girl there who is really not very nice and Celcily hates the thought of having to spend so much time with her. She is even more unhappy when she meets Kathleen's boyfriend, a guy that seems just perfect for her! This tale is humorous and has a few twists and turns that keep you guessing. Very well written and enjoyable.
The Law of Suspects - Maureen Johnson : I bought this anthology because of this author and I wasn't disapointed.... It is bizaare to say the least and I often had no clue what was going on but it was an interesting story that kepy me entertained. I'm not sure I fully get the ending though.
The Mirror House - Casandra Clare : A creepy little tale, the writing style really emphasised the creepyness and the isolation of the holiday location. I didn't figure this ending out wither. This was very well written but at times difficult to read but the author created the horror effect very well.
Nowhere is Safe - Libba Bray : This is easily the best story in the whole anthology! A story about a group of friends travelling through Europe before starting college and end up getting involved in a years old sacrifice at an isolated village. I'm keen to read other books by Libba Bray after reading this . Full of suspense and twists and turns and this book is worth the money for this story alone.
Overall a pretty good anthology, a great way of trying out new authors without committing yourself to a full length novel.
