I bought this with reservations that it would actually work and to be honest, I figured I would be returning it! We have a rental home that reeked of cigarette smoke. No amount of cleaning or candles or air fresheners made a difference. I ran the machine for 2 hours in every room, one after the other. The smell it emits is very strong and keep in mind you need to leave the room as soon as you turn it on! I left the house every time I started the machine. When all rooms had been "ozoned", I opened the windows to get some fresh air in. The smoke smell was completely eliminated. The true test was having my son come over with his friends - none of them could smell any residual cigarette smoke. The place smells amazing, even 5 days later. I plan to run the machine in all rooms one more time before renting it out. Now I can't wait for another smelly rental to come up just so I can use this again. I'll admit that I am a smoker and I plan to try this in my stinky car soon. All in all, I am just extremely impressed with this machine and I think you will be, too! (By the way, the local rental store wanted $150/day to rent their ozone generator! It may have been more powerful, I don't know, but at the price for this generator it is a no-brainer investment for any landlord!!)

Bought a 2nd hand car. Surely the previous owner's dog was a frequent passenger. After I tried different ways to get rid of the odor, it just stays strong. Local professionals charge $200 for an odor removal service.

Received the product yesterday evening, so I eagerly gave it a try today. Set the dial to 100, and left it on inside the car of 30 minutes. The result? I don't think anyone can tell a dog ever rode this car. It still amazes me as I'm writing this review.

I'm going to ask around who needs to remove any smell from anything ...

I bought my current Vivosun ozone generator for my daughter's use, but my real revue is the same model I used for a study where I work. I ran this Vivosun 24 hours a day for 45 straight days in a study on an air pumps. This generator was putting out the same aomunt of ozone after running 1080 hours as it did in the first 10 minutes. I was impressed enough to purchase a second one for cleaning up a mold problem at my daughter's house. It is impressive.

4 stars for value is because I purchased it for odor neutralization, a function that is low on my priority list in the face of limited income. So a big investment for a small job. Also, 4 for odor elimination. I bought it for that purpose, and it is very effective at eliminating foul odors, mine was a musty, old dead mice basement smell, but it leaves a bleach-type odor in its place. That residual odor fades after 12-24 hours. I had hoped for a neutral odor, but that was not the result, so 4 stars. The space issue is important. There are label warnings against using this in living spaces. Apparently Ozone (03), is irritating to the lungs, and I will confirm that. Don't be in or near the closed space you deodorize. People with COPD, asthma, heart failure and sensitive lungs are likely very vulnerable to bad effects. Initially set the machine for 10-15 minutes, leave the room immediately and don't return for 6 hours or so or air out before entering. Considering what we didn't know about vaping, cigarette smoking, opiates, etc. PLEASE explore the potential risks of ozone machines before purchase.

Excellent Odor Elimination!

I tried a smaller, more decorative type unit however it could not handle even a 12’x12’ room.
This unit, I can set it to run for a couple hours when I go out and it does the job.
Sometimes I run it pointing at an HVAC air return inlet for an hour or two. The faint ozone smell can be detected throughout my modest 1,300 sqft house.
I am very happy with it and would recommend it to family/friends. In fact, mom has one and is also pleased with hers.
