They just arrived today. Easy to apply. Far harder to catch the cat and pick the colour.
Chose the sparkly purple ones for my Tiny Nightmare (he’s a boy) specifically because one reviewer commented that she didn’t like that she couldn’t force her gender ideologies on a creature that doesn’t identify gender the same way unenlightened humans do.
Anyway, the Tiny Nightmare is currently out on the balcony being both mad at me and trying to figure out how to hunt with his front claws capped. 10/10 will order again. Oh, I got the medium size for my 12lbs Tiny Nightmare. Definitely trim the talons, and don’t be afraid of the adhesive. Too little, and your fur ball will pull them straight off.
My cat was ruining all of my furniture and scratching my children and I was very much annoyed, but also not wanting to declaw my cat because it’s such a cruel and invasive procedure I felt like I was stuck. I was almost wanting to rehome him, me and my children love him so much so it was getting very tough. Then I did some research and found this amazing product and it’s saved my life! This product is very easy to work with the caps last a long time, they are great quality and so many come in the pack so if one falls off you have many more to pop back on. My furniture is saved and my cat isn’t hurting anyone anymore. Not to mention they look adorable. Thank you to this awesome company. Will most definitely repurchase if I run out.
These are so easy to apply! The precision tips that come with the glue make life so much easier and it literally takes seconds to apply each cover. If you have a fur baby that loves to exercise their needles of destruction on your furniture or you 😯 don’t hesitate and buy these immediately! Take a look at my photo and you will see that my cat is above average in size. (Yes he’s on a diet). Chunk is a 32 lb chonker with massive paws/claws and the medium size fits him perfectly. If you have an average sized fur-baby of the feline persuasion, I suggest that you go with the small size. Any kitty under 8 lbs and I’d definitely go with XS/kitten. You won’t regret the decision and you’ll even be able to enjoy such niceties like no blood loss and/or furniture that you won’t feel embarrassed about if your mother in law comes to visit.
These came with assorted colours. Most are nice colours. These will last a long time, so the price is a good value for your money. The size is good, some are larger and are easy to clip to the size you need. They are very durable. And the glue is strong. I put these on my cat a few weeks ago and they are still attached. The glue is a little difficult to apply since my cat was moving around. I have some experience with nail glue so I would recommend practice before you use this on your pets.
Well the mediums are huge so defintaly for a large fully grown cat with large paws. The durability of them is to be determined because there fails easily poke through. I know I was suppose to trim there nails first but there were so big I was worried they would just fall off if there wasnt enough nail. I will try them.but the cats could.defintly chew through them or the claws I'd not trimmed with just poke right through no problem.
I came close to glueing these into my own fingers a few times. They’re small and it was difficult to get the glue inside without putting too much in. Several times I ended up with glue on my fingers. My cat doesn’t like his legs and paws touched so it’s a challenge to get them on. But the soft claws that I’ve managed to sneak onto my cat while he sleeps have stayed on really well. I have no complaints about the product and feel that with a more cooperative cat they would be great.
Gave this brand a try since they were so inexpensive. Found the large size was so long compared to other brands I've used on my cat that the nail cap extended too long (even after nails were clipped) and they ended up breaking very easily (as in tips breaking off because they were too long & not great quality so the nail would extend past the tip but the rest of the cap stayed glued on the nail). I tried a couple of times but then tossed the rest of them.
Great solution for a scratching cat. Fill the cap full of glue to ensure it is secure. Our cat chews at them and is awkward for the first little while but has become accustomed to them. 2-5 caps fall off per week. Plenty of caps and glue. Tip; With glue tip facing up squeeze some air out of the tube and let air come back in to the tube. This ensures glue doesn’t clog applicator tip. Store facing the tip slightly up.
If your pet scratches furniture you are better to get double sided pet tape and more cardboard scratch boxes. The problem with these is that the cat will bite the tips off of them and when they scratch your couch it instantly puts in a much bigger hole than a natural nail. I have added a picture to help my explanation.
This product is only good if you are trying to stop your pet from scratching people or other pets. If that is the case they are easy to put on, they last month's and you get a lot.
