3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good anthology 19 January 2016
By D. Deutsch - Published on Amazon.com

This anthology of cyborgs was pretty good. Most of the stories were pretty good but I found some of them to be inaccessible or just downright weird. My favorite was a cyborg soldier, female, with PTSD; a complicated and very human story that is especially relevant today. Not a bad buy considering this niche topic.

4.0 out of 5 stars but nevertheless this book offers a nice, almost-comprehensive exploration of the theme 5 February 2016

It's hard to put together a collection of stories bound together by a single thread and create something that feels organic. In my opinion, all such collections suffer from this, but nevertheless this book offers a nice, almost-comprehensive exploration of the theme. It's also a very good way to find out about new authors and explore subgenres.

5.0 out of 5 stars An amazing collection of short stories 17 May 2015

An amazing collection of short stories. I can not imagine where these writers came to their subject matter. A planet which grows replacement limbs and organs for people to harvest??? They were all well done and that they as grouped in this one edition makes them even better since they were so dynamically different... a surprise in each story

Good read. Not memorable.
