We use it for sweet potatoes and it is really hard to cut them. I have to get my spouse to cut them with this because I don’t have enough strength to push them through. Otherwise, good product.

Suction cup doesn’t seem to work very well even though I have granite counters. This in turn makes it harder to keep it in one spot when you are trying to cut fries.

I was very disappointed in this new and improved French fry potato cutter. The first problem I notice is the suction cups do Not stick to kitchen counter top. The second problem was pulling down the handle when there is a potato in to cut. I had to ask my husband to pull down the cutter handle for me. I have had French fry cutters before and never had these problems. Very unhappy with this purchase.
