Easy to read, funny pictures but the author has no qualifications so do your own research.

It's an easy and enjoyable read. The author remains relatively unbiased throughout the book until she blatantly tells women never to take their child to a chiropractor because it will cause harm. This was the moment I thought to search the book for her qualifications but found none. This is irresponsible and uninformed please do your own research.

I purchased this and a more common known pregnancy book. This has been my favorite by far. Set out in an easy yet informative week by week Progression with humor to keep things light.
Highly recommend.

Loved it. Was in a language that I understood. Looking forward to comparing it to myself when I’m pregnant

So disappointing. This highly regarded writer has not bothered to undertake thorough research regarding prenatal testing and disability. Women deserve better information when they are making such important choices for themselves and their families. Outdated, ableist opinions masquerading a fact helps no-one. Would previously have recommended. No longer will,

I used this book for both of my pregnancies - more for the first than the second of course, but I did refer back with number two! I loved the combination of warmth and humour alongside well-researched medical evidence and facts. I loved the focus on the emotional and physical well-being of both mother and baby and the calm comforting tone made it lot of fun to read. I’m glad to see this has been updated as it’s my go-to gift for any pregnant friends!

Disappointed to discover this book has such outdated and harmful words about people who happen to have Down syndrome, there seems a serious lack of research, consultation and editing to allow such discriminatory language go to print in 2019.

Got a second hand copy of this, it had the previous owners notes etc scrawled all through it which were interesting to read. The book is fairly interesting too.

Good read and weekly insight to development of baby

Story is a bit OTT at times but good fun. LOVE the week by week update of what is going on with pregnancy and size of baby. Referred back to this during each of my 4 pregnancies.

Excellent book with lots of helpful references for further reading and information. Some info is very Australian specific (as would be expected) however as an Aussie living OS I still found this book really useful.
