Product Description

Forbidden love. Untouchable…

King Noeh wants to live his single life, fight his enemy, and honor his goddess by winning the war over Earth’s most precious resource—water. Bonding to a female shifter is not part of the plan, not until his goddess insists he take a queen by the next full moon or lose his crown. When he rescues a beautiful female from the enemy’s grasp, a forbidden attraction blooms, and he must decide between his kingdom and his heart.

Melissa hunts for a new place she can call home, one far away from her controlling master who vowed to make her his concubine. Captured by the enemy and tortured to near death, she’s rescued by a brooding, handsome king. When her master shows up at the king’s underground Keep, the tension escalates. She struggles to keep the honorable king at arm’s length, but she can’t ignore the compelling desire he ignites in her soul.

Note: Intended for mature audiences.

Untouchable Lover is very much like a chess game.

Alora and Zedron are the players while the forces that they place on Earth are their pawns.

Noeh is the king of the Stiyaha which is one of Alora's factions. In his search to rescue a friend, he stumbles across Melissa who was also being tortured by Ram, the leader of Zedron's forces.

The characters are fun to read and there are a few plot twists thrown in to keep you turning pages.

Overall, I thought this was an interesting story but I think it could have benefited from more world-building in relation to the Lemurian gods. I found myself getting a little bit confused with the story going back and forth.

I was gifted a copy of this book which I voluntarily read in exchange for an honest review.

An adventure of epic proportions, this was a fantastic read! The characters are strong, rich and vivid. The scenes are so detailed you can see and hear them. The author has a way with words that will draw you in and keep you enthralled. Adventure, romance, monsters, shifters, gods and goddesses, jilted lovers, forgiveness, love and friendship......and so much more is swept up into this story. The romance is hot, Sexy, full of fiestyness, and a hard journey to happiness, and it is worth every step. This is definitely a book that if you're looking for heart racing adventure and steam inducing romance, you will not want to miss this one. I highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A rich, vibrant new world with lots of PNR yumminess--I can abolutely recommend it to fans of PNR and/or Fantasy/Sci-Fi Romance 1 January 2016

This story's set-up is at once familiar (in the best of ways) and uniquely different with some interesting new additions to the PNR genre. We've got the band of (mostly) male warriors who live and fight together, led by a noble albeit troubled king, and the dynamics between the characters and the world-building in this respect is fondly reminiscent of other well-loved PNRs like BBD, Midnight Breeds, LotU etc. Fans of these series will definitely find this book appealing, as it delivers within this popular set-up of characters and storytelling.

The unique aspects are the mythology the author developed for this world, and the details she fleshed out for it. Foreign gods and goddesses actively meddle in the affairs of the non-human races they put on Earth, which are mostly shifter species with magical abilities. I loved reading about all these new and interesting races, and their politics and struggles as they fight for survival beside the oblivious human population.

Though the romance is central to the plot, I'd say the story is definitely very action-driven, and besides the hero and heroine, we also get into the heads of other characters, including the villain and the deities pulling the strings behind the scenes.

A rich, vibrant new world with lots of PNR yumminess--I can abolutely recommend it to fans of PNR and/or Fantasy/Sci-Fi Romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, and a great read for both SFR and PNR fans! 9 February 2016

If you are a fan of great paranormal romance, you will find this book a great gateway into science fiction romance. It has the familiar (vampires and shifters) and the less familiar (world building that includes science fiction elements). It particularly reminded me the Black Dagger Brotherhood books, but without some of the slightly annoying idiosyncracies that series has always had for me. As a debut, this is a VERY strong book, and I hope the next in the series continues that trend.

There is a lot to this world. A lot of detail and glimpses we are shown in this book, that could lead to some great, complex storylines in the future. In addition to the introduction of some stellar side characters who are sure to get books of their own. Noah and Melissa are both well rounded characters who are strong alone, which only makes them stronger as a couple. I don't want to give away spoilers, but Melissa is a sympathetic heroine overcoming a dark past, and Noeh is a strong, troubled king trying to do what is best for his people. I am looking forward to seeing their story unfold more in future books.

If you're unsure when you start the first chapter, stick with it. There is a lot of information you are absorbing, but it becomes clear very quickly, and settles into a truly A+ read. I think you will be missing out if you don't give it a chance. Don't hesitate! I have a feeling this series is going to be something special.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book! 12 January 2016

Suspenseful, sensual first book from this author. I don't read a ton of paranormal, but I really enjoyed how engulfed into this world I was, right from the start. She does such a good job describing the environment -the scents, sounds and visuals-, without it becoming a distraction. At times it was downright eerie, other times I was laughing. I really felt like I was living in the world as I was turning the pages. The action scenes are thrilling and the love between Noeh and Melissa is built up nicely. I couldn't wait for them to kiss! Once I began reading and became familiar with the world and the battle Noeh is fighting, I didn't want to stop. If you're looking for a sensual -but not too explicit- paranormal with a well thought out mythology, and plenty of thrills, you won't be disappointed.

The plot of the book was really good. Two gods start a war to conquer the earth and its population to provide resources to their planet of Lemuria, one god wants to slave the humans and the other wants them to be free. They put their chess pieces to play and in the middle of it Noeh the king of a Lemurian race and Melissa a child of panther meet and fall in love and they are destined to fight for their god.
You will love this book!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Read! 19 December 2016

Long ago, Alora’s home planet of Lemuria was dying, short on water and other resources. She used her special ability to try to see the future, but was confused and shaken by what she saw. Alora hurried to the Council meeting to show them the new planet she had discovered – Earth. She asked to stake her claim to it, but a male she had rejected as mate, put forth a challenge for the planet, saying he had also discovered it. If she won, the Earth people would remain free; if he won, they would be enslaved. To resolve the challenge, they would have to battle on a sort of game board to win using animated characters of different strengths. The fate of Earth depending upon the outcome!

The story progresses into Noeh and Melissa's story. The author has a great storyline that keeps the reader interested. The twists and turns add to that tension. I recommend this book as a good read.
