About the Author

Insight Editions is a pop-culture publisher based in San Rafael, CA.

Victoria Rosenthal launched her blog, Pixelated Provisions, in 2012 to combine her lifelong passions for video games and food by recreating consumables found in many of her favorite games. When she isn't experimenting in the kitchen and dreaming up new recipes, she spends time with her husband and corgi hiking, playing video games, and enjoying the latest new restaurants. Victoria is also the author of Fallout: The Vault Dweller's Official Cookbook, Destiny: The Official Cookbook, Street Fighter: The Official Street Food Cookbook, and The Ultimate FINAL FANTASY XIV Cookbook. Rick Barba is one of the most published book authors in the videogame industry, with more than 130 game-related titles in print, including Diablo III: The Official Limited Edition Strategy Guide and the novel XCOM 2: Escalation (Insight, 2017). A graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop, Rick has been on the writing faculty at Santa Clara University and the University of Nebraska Omaha, and has published fiction in numerous literary journals such as Chicago Review, Black Warrior Review, AQR, and Gordon Lish's The Quarterly. He's thrilled that the content of his two Starfleet Academy novels (The Delta Anomaly and The Gemini Agent) is part of the official Star Trek canon. Rick lives just outside Boulder, Colorado.

Iris Compiet is an award-winning artist from the Netherlands. She has worked for a wide range of international clients and contributed to gallery shows and art annuals. She is also the creator of the book Faeries of the Faultlines. Drawing inspiration from European folklore, mythology, fairy tales, and the world around her, she strives to open a gateway to the imagination to ignite it even further.

This book is awesome! It's a great table book as well since there's a lot of stories written inside. There's also a WIDE variety of recipes in here. I did notice there's a lot of recipes using things like lamb, which I don't like, but can easily be replaced with another protein. There's also a lot of recipes that have asian flavours, which I love. I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking to explore different foods.
