Melody was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she lives with her husband, son, cat and puppy. She likes to read when she isn't writing or watching a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game. You can often find her at the local Starbucks ordering her favorite drink, Iced Mocha. The whole family are avid Pittsburgh Penguins fans and like going to hockey games when they get the chance. Having met some of the players has fueled her interest in writing about them and creating wonderful stories. Melody has loved writing since she was small, in school she never met a creative writing assignment that she didn't love. She is lucky enough to have a wonderful husband who encourages her to write. When she was laid off from her job of 14 years, he was supportive about letting her stay home and take care of their son. During that time she discovered hockey-romances and found a renewed love of reading as well as a passion for writing. She spends her spare time reading hockey romances. At holiday time she really enjoys any romance about Christmas. When it is the hockey off-season, she enjoys swimming and spending her days out in the sun. Basically if she's not writing or reading, then she's doing something that has to do with hockey!

This is my first book by this author. It won’t be my last! Loved Trina and Sam’s story. Sam was sweet and caring with Trina and all her fears. Can’t wait to read the next in the series.
I had already been introduced to Sam and Trina in Tyler's story and was so HAPPY to find that Melody had written their story as well. I love the whole meeting on the Beach, renting next door to each other. And the dogs....I am such a dog lover (I have 3 of my own).
The singing scene when Sam first sees Trina just sold them as a couple for me. I couldn't see anything else happening all through their story. Melody picks a tough subject (MS) to deal with and handles it so well. Sam's a keeper, he's a man who when he says in sickness and in health you know he will be there through good and bad times. She's not just another pretty face.
I loved this story so much, I'm actually rereading Tyler's story next as I want to revisit them again!

A great novella that will make you laugh, cry, and will melt your insides all in just a few short pages!! Trina goes to the Sandy Delaware beaches to recover from heartbreak and devastation. Sam goes there to try to bounce back after a lackluster season with the San Jose Crushers pro hockey team. They have rented condos next to each other not realizing they are about to rediscover love and happiness. This story does contain very hot, graphic sex scenes and strong language. If none of that bothers you, this is a pretty good story about healing, love, and new beginnings!
