I don't know if it's just me or what, but after reading the first book in this series I was a little unclear on exactly what had occured, although I had a general idea. It would have been nice if one of the characters had summed everything up in detail at the end. Despite that, I enjoyed that first book, and eagerly continued on to the second one, and was very pleased. I like the characters, the setting, and there was no sense of vagueness in this outcome. I sincerely hope another is in the works!

I like this character and the series is flowing nicely. The variety of patients and their humans is quite a bit of fun and the people of the town are great. Defiantly small town! This one had several leads that had to be followed, almost too many! Can't wait to see what else will happen.

This is a well plotted series that keeps getting better & better! I was drawn in from the beginning & couldn't put it down. Eileen Brady's main character, Dr. Kate Turner is intelligent & caring. Love her relationship with her Gramps. It'll be interesting to see if her friendship with Detective Luke Gianetti starts to heat up in future books.
