That is, when she’s not helping Gunnery Sergeant Adam Connor heal from his PTSD—or falling madly in love with him.

Action, romance, one hero suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, and another who's just plain hot. I really enjoyed this book!

Loved the whole series! It's a wonderful story and plot line. All of the characters get their happily ever after. This is definitely going to the keep and re-read pile! You won't regret reading Mike and Cate's story and Adam and Gwyn's HEA.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unforgettable lives up to it's name. 9 April 2015
By Lynne E - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Unforgettable lives up to title in so many ways. Heather Ashby continues her military romance series this time with co-author Major Christopher Bergeron MSMC, retired; together they deal with real issues of deployment, war, romance, terrorists and PTSD. The pain and suffering and the normal life living with PTSD was beautifully written. I cried with their pain, fear and their joy. As I civilian learned more about the suffering that comes with PTSD brought on from battle. PTSD is real and society needs to be aware and soldiers need to realize there is no shame and treatment is available.

I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read for this author. 12 April 2015
By AnnE. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Heather has done it again. I have loved her first three books in this series, and I loved this one too. It was enjoyable catching back up with some of the characters from the first books and following Gwyn and Adam's story in this book. Once again the combination of romance, danger and unforgettable characters make for a read that once started was hard to put down. I was furnished with an e-mail copy of this book in return for an honest review, and I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys good romance and military based fiction.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bravo to a Fantastic New Writing Team, Ashby and Bergeron! 16 April 2015
By Jane Nixon White - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
The fourth book in Heather Ashby's Love in the Fleet Series, "Unforgettable," was highly anticipated by this reader and author, and I was definitely not disappointed. Unforgettable was co-authored by Ashby and U.S. Marine Major Christopher Bergeron, retired, and their joint venture is stunningly successful. The story was fast paced and suspenseful, with complex characters from previous books in the series, yet readers gain a much deeper knowledge of them, learning more about the reasons they act the way they do. I was caught up in their world, feeling along with them, and anxious to learn outcomes, yet longing for the story to continue past the ultimate last page. I read well into the night, riveted to my kindle, and highly recommend Unforgettable, and the three previous books in the series as well. And I look forward to Heather Ashby's next project, whatever it may be! Bravo to a fantastic writing team, Ashby and Bergeron!

5.0 out of 5 stars Unforgettable is Unforgettable!!!! 14 April 2015
By ElizabethK - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Another success for Heather Ashby and a welcoming success for Christopher Bergeron. This book was riveting and suspenseful from cover to cover and touched upon a gamut of emotions that brought to life everything the characters were feeling and experiencing as I simultaneously shared their tears, joys, pain, fears, and suffering. This book opened the door, and my eyes, to the depth of PTSD and served as a poignant reminder that we need to do more for those who serve to truly understand the breadth of what they endure and help them learn to live with their experiences. Unforgettable also gave an incredibly insightful view into the world of terrorism with a realism that left me chilled and enlightened as I cheered for the spirits to help save the day and bring about a happily-ever-after for Cate and Mikey and Gwen and Adam. In short, this book is a brilliant, must read!!! I can't wait to try Helen's Heavenly Cookie Recipe.
