I use to be a huge fan of Ms Johnston and read everything she wrote. This book, however, was quite a struggle. The heroine was a spoiled brat who got what ever she wanted by batting her eyelashes - and that really didn't change throughout the book. There was no "story" here. Everything pretty much happens and concludes in the span of hours. It's just one sex scene after another (and not that great for my tastes). I felt like this was almost written in response to Fifty Shades of Grey. My hope was that it was a setup for the 3-4 books to come - not realizing that there was a prequel to this. Not really interested in reading about a family who has everything in life (money, great bods, good looks) but are very two dimensional. That with no story, made for a difficult read.
great story, joan johnston writes great stories ,hope she will cont to write more series on benedict brothers, you will enjoy her other books as well, i ordered the book even though i have a kindle, glad they gave us the option book, kindle, you wont be sorry ,
As always Joan does not disappoint. Joe and Lydia are a certain match. Joan also spins the web for Bull and Bella's remaining children to fall in love. Now I will await the continuing stories of the Bennedict children and of course Bull and Bella's reconciliation.
