We’ve heard very little about Kent up until the last few chapters of Seth’s story so I was dubious if I’d like it or not. Kent and Delaney’s story is quick and has a couple of twists that weren’t that obvious which I loved but it didn’t seem as in-depth as I was hoping for we miss out on the past that they had leading up to the present and the finish is a little anti climatic. An ok book to finish the series

This is one of those moments where I am sad that the journey is over. I loved every step of the way but I almost feel like I'm losing a friend. Or in this case a whole group of them.
Every book in this series has grabbed hold of me and made me love each and every one of them. I have been dying to get Kent's book. He was the strong silent type who loved so hard but always sat on the sidelines alone. And although we knew there had to be a reason it was a mystery.
And meeting Delaney and watching him go all out to prove his sincerity was awesome. But damn her story was complicated and every time I though she had gotten through the last drama another bomb was dropped. Luckily she had Kent by her side to help her navigate it all.
These two were a beautiful addition to the family and a great conclusion to the series. I just can't believe it's over. I really need to do a series re-read soon to get over my loss.

My love for the Beckett Construction Crew was pretty high from the moment I met Ridge Beckett in book 1, but each fella made me fall more & more in love.
They are fierce, loyal, loving, respectable, swoony, sexy men who love with their whole beings & have formed such an amazing bond.
Unexpected Odds was everything I’ve come to love from Kaylee & these men and so much more! It is full of that family vibe with so much heartfelt goodness.
Kenton was so strong, dedicated, loving and determined. He was determined to make Delaney fall in love with him & make his place in their world known. He was gentle with her, but nice an authoritative in the bedroom. He was hard working & loving with all of his brothers, their wives & children.
Delaney was lost and gifted with an opportunity to explore her past. Her vulnerability drew me in and then her ability to trust Kenton without knowing the history was so beautiful. That soul deep connection they shared from the beginning was an internal feeling that she could feel drawing her towards him. I love that she trusts her guts & shares her world with this man & his family.
Thank you Kaylee for another stunning story and steamy couple!

This was a solid end to the series. I was a little concerned as I wasn’t really a fan of a few of the books in this series, but it was all good.
I liked the spin on this book but also found there were a few similarities to other books in the series which I wasn’t sold on.
Still, Kent was a great character and I liked how he want over the top.
I didn’t really have many feelings about Delaney. She’s solid, but I would’ve liked to have seen her come to the fore more often.
I also felt as if a family tree for the group would come in handy, even though the other couples weren’t that prevalent.
Still, it’s a solid book, a bonafide stand-alone, so give it a go if it’s your type of thing.

Unexpected Odds had this captivating series finishing on an emotional and heartwarming end. Kent and Delaney’s story is one of fear, lost time and second chances. Their story is one that shows you even if the mind can’t remember, the heart will always know the truth. This was a passionate, heartfelt and at times heartbreaking love story. Two people who beat all the odds to finally get the happily ever after they deserved. A story that made me cry, smile and fall in love right along with them.

I had mixed emotions as I started this book. As glad as I am to see the last of the guys find their HEA, I'm still sad to see the series end. I absolutely loved the Beckett construction crew, and their stories are among some of my favorite. I've read each books multiple times, and they just get better each time! Kent and Delaney fit so well with each other, it seems like they've been together forever.
Delaney had a great childhood, happy and surrounded by loving parents and grandparents. But her life isn't perfect. Tragedy strikes, leaving her confused, and trying to rebuild everything. When her dad died, he left her with a legacy, that just might lead to her finding out who she is, and where she belongs again.
Kent is just like the other Beckett Construction guys. He is strong, sure of himself, and loves his family. But something is missing from his life. Something he let slip from his grasp, something he would give anything to have back.
Delaney and Kent have history, a connection that is undeniable, and perfect. So many things are working together to keep them apart, and the odds are stacked against them, right from the beginning. But a love that true, that perfect, will conquer all of those odds and come out stronger on the other side. And that is what happened with Delaney and Kent. This book is the perfect ending to this series. It's totally swoon-worthy, and I just couldn't get enough!

Everything I love to read in a romance💖

Oh, holy hell, this book is everything that my unreasonably sentimental heart demands in an unexpected baby, second chance romance. Given the premise of this series, I wondered what odd kind of circumstance Kaylee Ryan was going to create for Kent in this last story for the Unexpected Arrivals series.
Every book has been amazing, right from Unexpected Reality, which for me, has been a beautiful re-read, right through to Unexpected Odds. Kent has been there from the start, and I absolutely loved this gorgeous man. Kaylee Ryan has saved the best for last, and created the finest of romantic and steadfast book boyfriends. Seriously, this man is a unicorn, and it seemed that every circumstance was against him ever finding the one that he’d lost.
In spite of the difficult and overbearing mother that she had, Delaney has become strong. Life dealt her an unfair blow, and her mother exacerbated the problem, and, even though I eventually felt so sorry for her father, I believed that he never really stepped up for her. If he wasn’t already dead, I’d have killed him myself. Lucky for her that he tried to make things right. She needed to go back to the house she’d grown up in.
Seeing Delaney come home after more than four years away, Kent found that the odds are still against them getting together again, but the chemistry between them is as strong as it ever was, he just had to remind her, make her fall in love with him again, or this time he’d die trying. I loved everything about him and the people behind him. His parents and the family made up of Beckett’s Construction made sure that everything worked in their favour. My heart was happy and full. Still, there was the requisite fly in the ointment, and I found the surprising twist to be a sad and tragic tale for all involved....

100+ Stars!!!! This book was AMAZING!! Truly amazing.
Side note- Jonny James is incredibly HOT (cover model).
I hated Kent in the prologue. He was the world's biggest coward. I got this huge feeling in my gut I wasn't going to like this book. Then something happened. It started out in the first chapter in the best of ways and it only went up after that. I just had to make it through the prologue to see it. I absolutely loved Kent and Delaney together. They had this special kinda something that only dreams are made of. It was simply put... perfect. I loved how she lost her memory and had to learn things again. I loved how she had to learn to love Kent again. And for the record- I absolutely fell in love with Kendrix (daughter). She was the epitome of wonderful. And she was only 4 years old. She had an amazing aura and I loved her character. She brought so much joy into this book. She did steal the show. I would love a short story to look into the gang to see how their lives are going. Especially with all of them being pregnant. This was the best book and I feel so alive. Out of all the mess going on in the world and my own life struggles, it's so nice to have that escape.
So thank you Kaylee Ryan for being the wonderful person you are and for writing this. I can't say I loved it enough.

This might be my favorite book in this series. It's really hard to say though because they have all been fantastic.
I knew Kent's story had to be something big, but this was not at all what I expected. From the teases that we got about Delaney I am glad her character developed as she did. These two fit together like two pieces of a puzzle that were always meant to be together. I don't want to say much more because I don't want to add spoilers. Just know that this is the perfect ending to the Unexpected series!
