Freshman year College type book. However much too easy even for that level.
I think even my non-techy parents could easily understand the entire book if they just read it once or twice.
If you're not afraid of technology you probably already know much of the technology and concepts in the book so you could finish it all in a single day. The concepts are very basic and like 5th grade level of explanations, so it can be boring if you already know a lot.
The main points are in the bold words and you can focus your studying by letting yourself guided by bold words and titles. There is a lot of fluff in the book...hence the 5th grade level explanations.
There is little challenge in this book unless you really don't know anything.
Content is a bit dated.
Basically every time they say "we're starting to see this now" like in reference to OLED screens on phones, that's already old news. And you will see that happening a lot because it's an old book, most of the emerging tech referenced in the book has already been out and about in daily life for some time, but the concepts are still accurate.
