This was a pretty good read. I have read a few stories by this author and within this series, but all out of order. I was a bit lost with who the secondary characters were in this story, but it did not affect my enjoyment of the plot.
There were a few minor editing errors but nothing too distracting. I enjoyed the plot and the characters of Cassidy and Ryan, their love is everlasting. I understand that this was a novella, but it seemed a bit too easy, to simple, and very low in angst. I did not care for how easy they finally got together.
The epilogue is so very sweet and the perfect ending to this story. I will read more from this author and finish this series.

One thing that made this a four star book for me (and this is purely a personal reason), is the ending of the story. I very much dislike stories where a character has to give up something in order to please the other; especially when they go into the relationship with eyes open. Ryan gave up the MC, a brotherhood and family, that helped him become then man he is and helped him deal with his grief and anger over losing his brother. There is a line in the story where we learn that Cassidy will not stay be with him if he stays in the MC. I find it selfish of Cassidy to ask Ryan to give up part of himself for her, EVEN if he is willing. Again, this is purely my personal pet peeve.
