Uncovering Love Kindle Edition
Only, that's become a problem. As one case moves beyond professional, I find myself fighting an attraction I cannot resist. This hunky, tatted muscle man is hiding a wicked sense of humor and generous spirit behind his six pack that melts my resolve. The more I learn about him, the more I want him for myself.
But I can't break the rules, even if I've uncovered love in the most unexpected of places.
Uncovering Love is the first in a series, but can also be read as a standalone.

This was a well written and fluent story with a depth of characterisation that was a pleasure to read.
This was a fantastic, easy read with great characters, a unique story and lots of fun.
I loved the relationship between Evie, Jon and Kate. The easy friendship and commitment they show to each other is a great quality. I also loved the relationship between Tate and his family. And of course, when Evie and Tate are together. Such a variety of characters and relationships makes for a very interesting read for me.
I smiled a lot throughout this book and loved the sense of humour and quality in the scenes that Kasey describes and imagines.
As this is book 1 in a series, it continues with Uncovering Desire and is an interlocking standalone focusing on Kate. I can't wait to get stuck into this book and learn more about Kate.
A fun loving book of uncovering love when you least expect it.
Evie and Jon are friends forever, when Jon returns from the military and Evie fresh out of her job, a bright idea of staying a PI company comes to plan.
But what happens when you fall for the guy you are supposed to be investigating.
The story of Evie and Tate was sweet and light hearted. I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow and it wasn't a wham bam instant love, was very refreshing.
Looking forward to reading about Jon and Kate, the fun loving best friend in the next books.

The scenario is of two school friends, Evie and Jon, reconnecting when Jon returns from the Army and together they tentatively start a private investigation firm, thanks to an idea from a third school friend, Evie’s best friend Kate.
Evie’s tasked with looking into the background of Tate, a personal trainer. A client wants to know if he’s suitable boyfriend material. Even though I could guess how this would probably play out (it does) the story was still well enough written that I was hooked into the story and characters and couldn’t put it down.
There are several side plots running through the book and I found myself fervently hoping that this was the start of a series. It is! I can’t wait to read the rest and have high hopes for future books from this author.
Evelyn has lost her job and joins forces with an old schoolfriend, Jon, who is back from serving in the army and also at a loose end. They begin a private investigating business and their first job is to track the hunky personal trainer Tate for a prospective girlfriend.
Evelyn goes undercover as his client and gets closer to him in more ways than just on the gym mat!! She tries to ignore her feelings as Jon clearly is holding a candle for her too, and she is in turmoil keeping the real reason why she is working out with Tate from him.
I loved the love triangle that was developing and Evelyn's best friend Kate was thrown in as an interesting character who I wanted more of.
There were some sexy scenes, but not the main focus of the book as it was more about developing the characters and their relationships. Whilst Uncovering Love isn't perfect, I would recommend it for a light read with some great humour.
