Product description

Product Description

Unbridled is the sequel to Initiation - A provocative story about a boy who was initiated into a clandestine sexual society. He was spirited to the Middle East, from his UK boarding school. He attended the Bahriji School (Oasis,) in The United Arab Emirates in preparation for serving in Harems for the wealthy and elite.

It is also a love story between the young man, his ‘Big Brother’ and his ‘Valet’ who served as his chaperones and mentors during the boy’s Harem services.

This book follows the boy’s erotic and exotic adventures and experiences at his 2nd Arab Household Harem, the Sekham. He was an apprentice and model, for the household patriarch’s controversial photography project, “Sacred Sex in Sacred Places”.

The author's experiences present facts that are truthful. Through these truths, which are often demonized by contemporary societies that deem such behaviors inappropriate, the author hopes to dispel condemnations and negativity which relate to his experiences.

There are 7 volumes in A Harem Boy’s Saga series.

Unbridled is the second book in a series recalling the adventurous life of the author, Bernard Foong, or Young as he is called in the story. This is not my first M/M read. Young searches for his lover and soul mate, Andy, whom he has not heard from in forty years. The story tells of his memories and passions of their lives together.

An erotic and adventurous memoir is told from Young’s experience as a harem boy for a secret and upscale sect called The Sekham. His vivid accounts will not only shock but also thrill you in what he has experienced in his lifetime. Yes, I absolutely was hooked from the jump. The story toggles from the past to the present very seamlessly.
I am looking forward to reading more from author Bernard Foong.

A friend loaned me the paperback of this second in the seven book Harem Boy series. I had earlier read some of the others, so I knew what to expect. And I was swept up in a sexy fantasy that feels so real you can nearly touch it.

Now, be warned, this is a book that includes sensuality, LGBT, and a spiritual perceptions about sex. This book is not for those children, yet it is a sexual coming of age series. Unbridled is also the sequel to Initiation.

With those caveats above, read this provocative story about a privileged boy initiated into clandestine sexual society in the Middle East. An Arabian Nights for the 21st century...

It is also a love story between the young man, his ‘Big Brother’ and his ‘Valet’ who served as his chaperones and mentors during the boy’s Harem services.

Unbridled (A Harem Boy's Saga Book 2)

by Young follows the release of his first in the series. It doesn’t stray from the magnificence of the first plot line and readers are once again stunned with yet another revealing tale of what occurs behind closed doors, and it’s nothing short of breathtaking. The writing style flows easily on the pages, simple and easy to understand. The characters are relate-able and some you develop a love/hate relationship for. Well done.

This book is eloquently written and I wish I could have grabbed the first one before starting in on this wonderful read. Young’s life is one of those mesmerising timelines that you really don’t believe is real, but honestly is. The fantastical journey of a young man who gets to experience everything and anything many people only dream of is just wonderful, and I secretly envy him, but in a good way.

The transitions between the present writing and memory are smooth and seamless. You can tell the difference in time, but other than that it fits very well with the past narrative. You can tell it's a stroll down memory lane while he looks to reconnect with his former lover.

The views he has on sexuality mirror that of my own. The fact that sex is a sacred act, a link between the mortal and divine is very well articulated in this book and it resonated with me at a very core level. This comes through as Young and his party work on a project called “Sacred Sex in Sacred Places”

This book also opens up some of the lesser known aspects of a few cultures, that’s as much as I want to say without spoilers, but Young’s education delves into the hidden aspects of the cultures he was exposed to, that certain things aren’t as cut and dry as the authors of the tomes of history would like you to think. This definitely causes the reader to do a little bit of soul searching as to what one has been told is culturally appropriate regarding love and sex.

What an amazing journey! Young travels around Europe, the USA, and the Middle East, and to be fair, that’s when things get really interesting.

Young has a talent for descriptive writing and you really feel like you are inside the author’s head as you journey along with him. The harem scenes are unparalleled, and it’s fascinating to be a fly on the wall as he serves in an Arab household.

The troubled love affair between himself and his chaperone also makes for exciting reading.

This book was given to me for Christmas.

This really is a great read for all those who love biographies! It will appeal to gays and straight people alike although it is essentially about gay love. I admire this author's ability to recapture his past. His past is a rich one and a subject that many of us don't know much about it certainly will intrigue and fascinate many. Well written and captivating!
