But no, it's Tony Stark, a character I really didn't need to know about and in whom I'm not at all interested -- I had research reasons for reading this, and it was a complete waste of time. Further, while the mechanics were good, the characterization was shallow (well, for anyone except Tony Stark and again, I didn't care). This should have been retitled like the Wolverine or other prose books, so I would have known to avoid it entirely.
So if you want a story that's 'Tony Stark and maybe five pages each of the other ultimate, none of which is terribly interesting or important' (okay, Natasha gets a little more screen time at the end but only because of a Tony-relationship) then you'll probably like this.
As it stands, it wasn't what I was looking for and the cover was Ultimately misleading. If I'd been able to preview it, I never would have bought it.
