didn't have this issue with farcry 4, but the field of vision seems a lot smaller for this. had to put down the controller as I was getting motion sickness from it. one of the few first person shooters that I have an issue with

But it's the first Far Cry game since 3 that I won't 100%. There was just a little something missing. For a large portion of the game I stayed in helicopters so I wouldn't be forced to progress the storyline before I was ready. Touching a single toe to the ground at any point would force a cutscene and it was super annoying when all I wanted to do was aggressively take over bases.

I played FarCry 1,2 & 3 before this and I was really surprised how little this game made me want to play it. There is nothing really new here..it's a FarCry game. I played for about 20 hours until I just didn't care what was happening any more. Sure the graphics are fantastic and the game is visually stunning...but there gameplay is just so dated. The fights are all identical and there is very little in the action to keep you coming back. Farcry has always been repetitive but this just seems overly so. Drive to area, kill baddies, rinse repeat until all the missions are done. I bought this for $25 and even at this price I feel slightly ripped off. Unless you REALLY like Farcry games then Farcry 5 is an easy miss.
