Not a bad book, if you're starting the divorce with kids journey. Gives great advice for former couples on co-parenting. But, seeings how my fiance and I have been co-parenting, with His ex, for the last 6 years, it really didn't have any new advice for us.
Was hoping it was more about how to help my Stepdaughter, 6 nearly 7. Whom has been having trouble at Mom&stepdad's house. We have 50/50 split custody, 4 days with me and Dad 3 with Mom & Stepdad and I take her to school and pick her up every week day adults at Mom's have to work.
So, wish it had better advice on how to help Stepdaughter with the difficulty of living in two homes, more than it does. Because like I said, we already do all that the book says is best for this situation. No conflict, similar house rules and rutien (as far as I know).
Other wise GREAT book, if you're struggling with co-parenting or are just starting the journey.
