In true Bliss style, Zoe and Anna’s first love scene is almost poetic at times. You get a very clear picture of the complexities that Anna’s mind runs through on a daily basis and her struggle to over come them because of her love of Zoe.
While we applaud Bliss for enlightening us to an often misdiagnosis for women, it is her description of Anna’s love for her dog that caught my eye throughout this series. Having been dealing with the loss of my own dog this last year, it really hit home how much I miss having that special love a dog brings you. So much so, that reading this book I feel I am now ready for another dog.
As always, there are many things going on in a Bliss book and no doubt people will find different things that will “speak” to them. One thing you will definitely agree on and that is that its a wonderful well written story that will pull at your heart strings. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I highly recommend this story about the struggles and triumph of a neurodiverse woman. Embrace and celebrate difference and remember you must read all three novellas in order.

shows the developing relationship between Anna and Zoe.
Anna struggles to accept her autism with the help of her therapist, understanding of friends and family, and primarily the support and patience of her partner Zoe.
When an unexpected arrival threatens the status quo they have to find a way to communicate and deal with the fall out.
Some of Harper’s most engaging books are those where her characters are dealing with an issue, and in this trilogy she has excelled herself. Judging from the author’s note at the end of the book she has put a lot of herself into this book, and for being open and vulnerable I totally applaud her.
Harper is already the queen of sex scenes, maybe she can add queen of emotional depth too.
This series should get the same sort of acclaim and attention that “the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime” achieved.
You need to read the three books together to really see the development and it would be fabulous to see how they progress over time. An emotional and thought provoking read.
I read a lot of books and Harper Bliss is one of my favourite authors, her books are fabulous.
This trilogy however made me feel even more connected to the characters if that’s possible. I could feel Anna’s and Zoe’s frustrations at various points throughout the books. I felt really honoured to share their story. Harper explains the differences and complexities of people extremely well to allow people like me, that have no knowledge of neurodiversity to have a little understanding and a huge amount of compassion for how difficult life can be.
Thank you Harper.
