I was given a 96 Nissan Altima with 140k miles. It didn't shift the quickest and you could tell that although it drove, you had to be gentle with it - it wasn't responsive, didn't shift immediately, went clunk sometimes, and sometimes would slip. The previous owner hadn't maintained it like he should and it was in some pretty rough shape, but it was free and it drove.
I added some of this stuff and it was amazing how much it improved - quieted down, shifted much better, drove much better - I could floor it and feel some real power. After about 20k more miles I had the fluid taken out and refilled, and then around 160k it started having issues again, so I added more of this and it quieted everything down and worked great. Finally around 188k miles (still on the origial transmission) it began to have major issues indicating mechanical teardown.
This isn't going to fix something that is mechanically broken but if it isn't shifting well or is noisy, this definitely made a marked improvement. If it's high milage and not well maintained and having more major issues, but still mechanically sound, you might want to put this in, drive it a couple hundred miles, and then do a flush and filter replacement. That was even more amazing for me, and ultimately it got me another 44k miles and 2 years.

This stuff is AMAZING. Had a Ford Explorer that had sat for a year.... When I got it running again, it would not engage in reverse. As a last ditch effort before junking the vehicle, I put one bottle of Sea Foam Trans Tune in the transmission. I honestly didn't expect much. The mechanic at the garage told me flat out "You're just wasting your money, junk the car, the transmission is toast". Imagine his complete and utter SHOCK when after he lowered the car from the lift, he put it into Reverse, and to his amazement, Reverse engaged flawlessly. I'll definitely recommend and buy this product should I ever need it again.
Used for power steering flush- transmission is next.

Put about 6 ounces or a little more in my power steering. Drove a few miles and did circles in a parking lot in both directions. Used a turkey baster to empty the pump, disconnected the return line and connected 10 feet of 3/8 vinyl tubing to drain. With front jacked up so wheels could be turned with engine off, turned in both directions several times until fluid flowed clear. You need to top off the pump every couple turns to keep air out. Connect everything back up (youtube has videos with a lot more info) and make sure fluid is up to level. Nasty burnt smell from old fluid. Smoother turns and quieter now. Well worth the hassle for this job on a 16 year old truck with 178,000 miles. Needed a gallon of Prestone power steering fluid (without the stop leak stuff) to get the job done. Happy with this product, will be doing a filter change on transmission next using this stuff to flush it first.

Amazing stuff... I had problems with my 04 Honda Accord steering wheel.. It becomes extremely hard to turn it left or right especially during the cold season. So I got this product and poured it into my power steering fluid career after I had sucked out the old fluid with a turkey baster. And now my car turns fully with little efforts
Amazing! Smoother Shifts!

Bought this to see if it would help my 98 Legacy stop from going into limp mode and also the hard shifts. Dumped it into the AT Fluid and drove it around and already felt that it shifts smoother. Seafoam is seriously a great product. Ive used their motor treatment before and that was great. This Trans Tune product also lives to their Guarantee "Seaform is sold on the basis of YOUR MONEY'S WORTH OR YOUR MONEY BACK." Definitely moneys worth + more. Will be using their products for life.
