Still collecting for my Bowie shelves, the Man played in the prequel of Twin Peaks filmed after Seasons 1 and 2. Now given a post demise part in this newly released Season 3 (20 years after the fabulous original seasons), Bowie plays again.

Absolutely NO spoilers here, but Bowie was signed to this before he got sick, and approved the innovations to include him in Season 3. Another brilliant Bowie quirk to his theatrical passing. I'm pretty impressed.

現時点で、セット価格7・8千円の並行輸入ものと思しき「リージョンフリー版」がAmazon.co.jpでも出品されています。その半額少々のリージョンB版（本品）も引き続き売られているのがネットのマーケットプレースらしい所ですが、例外的に日本にリージョンB仕様の再生機器を持ち込んで海外から持参して来た自分のコレクションと一緒に楽しんでいる方もいらっしゃるのかな ? と想像しています。評価の☆数は、1万円以上する国内版を何度か見て、作品自体は、謎が増殖することも含めD・リンチ・ファンの私には納得のいく内容でしたので、☆=1から☆=2に変更しておきます。低評価は日本国内でうっかりリージョンB版を買って返品せざるを得なかったことへの悔しさに由来するものなので。
<以下追記前のレビュー>
他の方のレビューを見て日本語対応（言語・字幕の両方又は何れか）を期待して購入しましたが、言語・字幕とも英語（米語1）のみ、且つディスク1で（メニューが反応しないことがあり）Special Features のみ何とか再生出来たものの、メニューからドラマ本編のPart 1～Part 2へ遷移することが出来ず、ドラマ本編を普通に再生することが出来ませんでした。他のディスクにも同様の現象が見られ、どうやら手持ちの再生機器（SONY BDプレーヤー及びNECデスクトップPC＋CyberLink PowerDVD）と今回購入したBlu-rayディスク個体（パッケージ表示は英語）が合わなかったようです。折角購入してワクワクしていたので非常に残念です。同じストアから購入した『Twin Peaks The Entire Mystery』が比較的良い買い物だったのですが、今回は返品手続きを行うことにしました。
ちなみに、パッケージは、商品トップの写真とは異なり、折り畳み式の紙パッケージにディスクが直に入れてあるもので（それがオリジナルですが）、その外箱の上下辺がヘシャゲており難あり品でした（中身のディスクは無傷でしたが）。正常に再生されるコンテンツを入手したいので、結局は同じタイトルの別の商品を探して購入せねばならず・・・・・商品の正しいスペックや注意・制限事項を素人にも分かりやすく商品トップに表示して頂く（途中で仕様が変更された場合【例：リージョンフリー=>リージョンB】はその旨を明記する）、最新の商品仕様と合致しないレビュー【例：音声・字幕が日本語対応】も含まれることを商品個別に明記する、等の措置をして頂く必要があると思います。メディア規格の互換レベル等に詳しくない方は、通常の店頭価格より大幅に安価な商品を買う場合、仕様リスクを回避する為自分の手持ち機器で（字幕・言語等）期待通りに再生出来る商品なのか慎重に確認されることをお勧めします（自分自身は久しぶりの映像ソフトのオンライン購入で良い勉強になりましたが）。
現在、このスレッドで5000円以下の価格で販売されているBlu-rayディスクは「リージョンＢ」版になっており、日本国内で普通に販売されている機器で視聴出来る保証がありません。リージョン・フリー版のレビューが混入しているようですので、Blu-ray規格に詳しくない方は、注意が必要です。

字幕が途中で消える…

本当に日本語字幕がついているか半信半疑ででも日本語字幕がなくても英語で見るかな、くらいの気持ちで購入しました。
着たのはイタリア版。プラスチックケースに厚紙のケースがついているのみでそれ以外のブックレット的な付属品はありません。まぁ、イタリア語でついてても読めないしまぁいいかくらいです。

まずディスクを入れて一番最初に言語を選択。
それから日本語でメニュー表示され、吹き替えか字幕か、その言語も選択できます。
ラッキーと思い字幕を選択、しかし開始5分…気付いたら字幕が消えてる？
プレイヤーのリモコンで字幕を操作すると再開。その後は大丈夫でしたがDisk2でも同じことが起こりました。（5までみましたが他のは起こってません）

ちょっと操作すれば治るので問題はないのですが…気になる人は気になるかも。
でも金額を考えたら我慢できなくはないです。
