In Twice Blessed, Laura blends her faith and hope in God with her own experiences during the season of caring for her parents. Uniquely, Laura understands the needs of both the caregiver and the carereceiver, as during the initial writing of Twice Blessed, she was diagnosed with leukemia. “This is the book I wished for during my seasons of giving and receiving care.”
In this updated edition of Twice Blessed, Laura tells the rest of the story which was still in process at the book’s first publication by Broadman & Holman in 2005.
