After inheriting her grandfather’s land in West Tennessee, Sylvie decides to leave her city life in Nashville. Now her days are filled with tending to the property, hiking with his orphaned dogs, and refurbishing his furniture. As she becomes more familiar with the land so unknown to her, Sylvie can’t help but wonder about the secrets buried there and why her neighbor Rick is obsessed with buying it.
As mysteries begin to surface, Sylvie grows increasingly attached to the land—and Rick becomes increasingly aggressive about obtaining it. Between the pressure to give it up and the desire to defend what’s hers, Sylvie might just choose to fight to protect her family’s legacy and, more important, herself.
