Sound: These sound fantastic. These have very clean, deep, cinematic bass. Trebles are also crisp and clear, they bring out a lot of details in my games. For gaming, these are my new go-to, and I also have the Astro A50, RIG 800LX and Corsair HS75 XB. Music and phone calls also sound great on these.

Comfort/design: These took me some getting used to, however I like them far better after tweaking the size and getting used to them. The clamp is a little tighter than I'm used to, the cups are thick and they feel weighty...they feel good now, however I do prefer the comfort of the other headsets I mentioned. Still, for the sound, the comfort is no issue. The buttons could be laid out a little better - the on/off button is flush in between the bluetooth and EQ button, making a little annoying to press. This button should have been on the right cup. The volume wheels are also a little too thin and don't give enough feedback when changing the volume.
This headset looks clean and simple, however the headset looks large and has fat cups which prevent me from taking it to the gym/out in public.

Features: These are really nicely featured. With great audio, bluetooth, swivel cups, built in mic and app connectivity, there's not much else you can ask for. If these had PS5 connectivity, they would be perfect in terms of features, however that's my only gripe if I had to choose one.

By far the most comfortable pair of headphones I've owned.
Sound quality is top tear.

The only annoying thing is that it doesn't seam to remember the last volume you had them at, therefore making the volume wheel annoying to use until you either max the volume or turn it all the way down.

Also Bluetooth connectivity on pc is very hit and miss with the max volume sometimes being capped (pretty sure this is a bug) to a level of around 33%, you can get the headphones to 100% it just requires you to turn them on/off and sometimes even disconnect from the Xbox.

Didn't buy from Amazon, but I'm not happy with them, and let me explain why to save anyone else the same pain....

I have been using for years the TB XP500's, similar capability and came out around the XBOX360 era. They had a bluetooth chat dongle, and then the xbox one came out, which required chat to be cabled into the headset. They have a basestation for game audio which was 5.1 Dolby Digital over SPDIF. Been rocking these for years, take AA batteries and I just keep a rotation for when they run flat. Every mate bought the XP510 with INBUILT lipo... they're all dead now. *the headphones, not the people*.

So along comes my series X . it doesn't have an optical out, so goodbye audio. I fixed this with a $30 HDMI "audio extractor" which is a bit of a pain in the bum, as it needs it's own power. so I ho HDMI > audio extractor > SPDIF > XP500 basestation > headphones.

I read all the reviews and know first hand I wanted a headset that also did bluetooth, and plonked down for the Stealth 700 Gen 2.

Some things are good. some I HATE. so to do a direct comparison...
BAD POINTS:

1) they are much more insulating than my last set, so I cannot hear the mrs trying to get my attention. This is actually annoying. I have a game room, so no need to cut out external noise, so although reviews complained they didn't insulate enough, for me it is far too much.

2) Because they insulate so much, you cannot hear yourself speak. The MIC monitoring is weak and it feels like you're underwater or have earplugs in. it's a horrible feeling. If you're chatting, you need a more OPEN headset (ability to hear outside noise). This isn't it.

3) The control app. Many reviewers said it did not work. I also couldn't pair it at first, but after plugging the headset into a PC and letting it do a firmware update, I could. Once connected to the app, I could play with settings. This in itself is a problem, because if you want to adjust the sound, you have to Bluetooth to your phone or something to use the app... that means you cannot be bluetoothed to your PC or other source unless you're happy to lose the control of the headphone. You can life with it, but it makes tweaking on the go a bit annoying

4) Because it pairs with the xbox, I've found no way to turn them on (say for BT) without them also turning on the xbox. Although they're paired, if you turn them on and off "wrong" they will unpair. You then have to re-pair them. I had to do this three times in my first night and I can see it being a pain in the ass.

5) HORRIBLE BASS. These things are reviewed everywhere has having nice sound. I can only assume the reviewers are deaf. The bass is SO loid it is a ridiculous "BOOMY" experience, I turned it down as much as possible in a custom sound profile and it improved but still there's this almost sub-woofer like non-stop rumbling you cannot kill off. I found this terrible. I have quite a lot of headphones, and personally like crisp sound, and so I am really hating on the way overblown bass and rumble here. it's totally unecessary and immediately put me off.

6) not enough volume controls... what? ok you have a game volume control, which doesn't go as loud as my XP500s so that annoyed me, but then there's only one other volume wheel. ok ... hmm,... so if I'm balancing chat volume and also have a bluetoothed PC playing me a video I cannot control these on the headset. I first have to pair with the APP... (so moving bluetooth from my PC to my phone) and then choose to have the scroll wheel set to let me manage bluetooth volume, then pair back to my PC. Then I can turn the BT volume up and down , but I lose the ability to set the chat volume, and vice versa. On the old XP510, I had a dogle in the controller to contol chat volume, a wheel for game volume, and up/down buttons for Bluetooth volume, I could tweak as I went with no effort. So again , this is a biut annoying. There's ways around it by using the PC volume controls or maybe going into xbox menus for chat volumes, but it's not the same as having all three controllable on the headset.

7) HEAVY, they're quite solid, and quite heavy.

GOOD POINTS:
1) comfortable, with glasses on. had a few hours session and they did hurt less than the older XP510.

2) Mic seems to be clear to other team mates, even if I cannot hear myself.. If I turn up the mic monitoring to hear myself, it picks up the button clicks on the controller.. but at least others can hear me

3) Long battery life, claims of up to 30 hours. At least all I have to do is plug it into the USB at the end of a game session and never need to worry about changing the AA batteries. It wasn't that big a chore though. The downside is they're only going to last as long as the inbuilt battery stays reliable. as mentioned, I've seen this break mates XP510's where my AA taking 500's are still working. so good for interruption free gaming, but it will have a longer term downside.

4) no piddling with audio extractors, base stations, chat cable to controller... it's all in the one headset paired direct to the xbox. From that perspective it's much simpler than the older XP500

Balance:

For me, too bassy, to closed back (making chat uncomfortable like you're talking with your ears blocked) and concerned about battery life. I would not buy them if I had tried them out first. I'm in two minds whether to keep them or put them back up on ebay and take the loss, seriously, they're that poor.

The only other I was going to consider was the arctis steelseries 9x? – would be interested if anyone's tried those and how they might compare to the stealth 700 g2.

Antes de comprarlos leí muchas reseñas del producto para tomar una decisión, lo cual provocó que me tardara días en comprarlos ya que había reviews buenos pero unos muy malos y no sabía que hacer. Una vez dicho esto les puedo comentar que con seguridad la mayoría de esos comentarios son de personas que compran las cosas y no se molestan en investigar ni tantito ya que los problemas con los que cuenta estos audífonos son derivados de no actualizar el firmware de los audífonos, LO PRIMERO QUE DEBEN HACER es descargar en su computadora Turtle Beach Audio Hub, después conectar por cable sus audífonos a la
Computadora y dejar que el software actualice a la última versión, solo así evitarán tener problemas de conexión entre sus audífonos y el Xbox serie x o con el Bluetooth y su celular.

Una vez hecho este paso descarguen la app de Turtle beach en su celular, es indispensable para poder configurarlos correctamente.

De preferencia lo primero que deben de hacer para usarlos es prender el Xbox y sincronizarlo con el mismo, una ves sincronizado con el Xbox S/X ya pueden sincronizarlo con el Bluetooth de su celular.

Antes tenía los audífonos Turtle beach Stealth 600 Gen 1 y estaba maravillado con ellos, pero cuando vi en internet esta nueva versión decidí que era momento de hacer un upgrade. Les puedo decir que fue la mejor decisión que pude haber tomado, estoy enamorado de etos audífonos, para empezar si nunca han usado unos inalámbricos van a estar doblemente maravillados, ya que es súper cómodo poder ir al baño o la cocina y poder seguiré en comunicación con tu team o escuchar cuando es momento de la siguiente partida y apurarte, la batería de estos audífonos es una maravilla ya que duran hasta 20 horas de juego y evitas absorberle la pila a tu control, por lo cual si cuentas con una pila para el control del kit de play & charge podrás jugar días antes de cargar ambos. La calidad de los audífonos es muy buena, si compras Dolby Atmos tendrás aún una mayor Fidelidad de sonido, el modo superhuman es la función que si o si necesitas para jugar competitivos, rara vez te llegarán de sorpresa y realmente te da una ventaja competitiva vs quienes no la tienen. La calidad del cool foam de los audífonos es increíble, son súper frescos y cómodos, no te lastiman para nada aun jugando muchas horas seguidas, aparte de que son suficientemente grandes para que entren tus orejas de modo que no las apriete y acabes con dolor.

Puedes configurar 1 botón y la rueda para diferentes funciones. En si el preset original es que con una rueda controles el volumen del juego y con otra el Del Chat de voz, otro botón es para escoger entre la modalidad de audio y otro es para uso del Bluetooth, activar música o contestar llamadas. Nunca había pensado que sería cómodo escuchar música mientras juegas pero con estos audífonos lo es, puedes poner el
Volumen de la música independiente de la del
Juego, de modo que tengas música de fondo y no te distraiga de escuchar el juego.

En los contras debo decir que es cierto lo que comentan con que si te alejas unos 8 metros se pierde la señal con el Xbox y al regresar no se conecta automáticamente lo
Cual si es bastante molesto aunque pues solo es cuestión de volverlos a prender y se conecta en 2 segundos, ojalá se solucione esto en otra actualización de firmware.

Mi veredicto es, cómprenlos y no hagan caso a malas reseñas, son unos excelentes audífonos y en Mexico no lo van a conseguir en ningún retail todavía.

****Actualización****

Llevo un par de semanas con ellos y de repente pasa que el Bluetooth se conecta y desconecta de mi IPhone en bucle y no puedo escuchar música o hacer llamadas, pero descubrí que la solución es irse a la configuración de bluetooth de su celular y poner olvidar dispositivo (audífonos), posteriormente apaguen el bluetooth de los audífonos (dejen presionado el botón unos segundos hasta que les notifique que se apagó), vuelvan a encender el bluetooth de los audífonos, vuelvan a emparejar el iPhone y listo, esto debería solucionarlo. Si no funciona reinicien su celular e intente de nuevo el proceso, descubrí que a veces es el iPhone el culpable.

***Actualización 20 ene 2021***
Al parecer actualizaron la app para IPhone y se ha solucionado este problema de emparejamiento, al menos ya no me ha sucedido que se desconecte el Bluetooth del celular 😎, les recomiendo ahora si comprarlo sin preocupaciones de fallas.

Pensé que ya se había solucionado el error ya que me había dejado de pasar, pero en la última semana me ha pasado ya 3 veces, no es posible que tengo que estar hasta 10-15 minutos apagando el bluetooth y volviéndolo a encender, apagando y encendiendo los audífonos y hasta mi celular para que agarre nuevamente el bluetooth correctamente (si puedo utilizar la app para mover la configuración, pero lo que se desconecta es el poder escuchar la música del cel o recibir llamadas mientras juego), no se si es tema de compatibilidad con mi iPhone XR pero hasta que arreglen esto le bajo la calificación a 3 estrellas.

NOTA: Si les llega a pasar que se corta su voz cuando hablan por medio de los audífonos cuando se encuentran jugando y su team no los escucha bien o cortado, quiten la opción de chat boost, esto me soluciono a mi el tema.

I am writing this review before the Xbox Series X is out. I have actually bought two of these, one for myself to use my husband's old Xbox One and one for him to use with the new Xbox series X.

His head is larger than mine, and when you first see the headset ear cushions they may seem a bit big but actually they are what makes this sooo comfortable. They seem to adapt a bit like memory foam to your shape and body heat. The headset adjusts on both sides for a bigger head and also the ear panels swivel so it can adapt to a wonky head!

Pros:
Mutes the mic when you flip the mic up.
Seperate audio slider for game and chat.
They feel good quality.
When you turn them on, your xbox comes on too (just like controller, you cant turn off console with headset).
When it turns on it tells you how much battery it has left.
They arrived fully charged.

Cons:
For me, my phone put bluetooth (phone) music audio through differently if the bluetooth was also connected for calls. Turn off calls and it comes through crystal clear.

If you are using bluetooth for calls only and connecting to xbox for audio and chat, there are no issues in sound quality.

Overview:
Fantastic quality, enhanced in game experience with surround sound effects. I have yet to try the mobile app.

I bought one, tried it and then bought another one. Fantastic kit.

Yet to try on laptop but thats also bluetooth so I dont see any issues there... possibly an adapter might be needed for mic use, if I remember I will test and update this in the future.

wireless connectivity via the same system that the controller uses? so basically its better than plugging a headset into your controller.

they don't get hot as they have cool foam, and its not joke that foam is cool. you feel it when you put the headset on, cold foam is better for keeping its shape for longer than normal memory foam.

my first headset was Turtle beach 8 years ago and its lasted 7 of them, i strayed to Logitech and they were horrible, cable for people what want to plug them into the tv......in a different room this thing must have been 2 metres long no cap.

these seems pricey but they're worth triple that in convenience, just soo seamless turning them on and not having a wire connected to the controller being able to move freely

AND THE BEST FEATURE, alright boys level with me, you play with 2, maybe 3 monitors and at least 1 of them connected to a computer, or at the very very least you have a tablet, or something in that realm right? well imagine having a wireless headset connected to your Xbox and magically connect to your computer or tablet or phone via Bluetooth, truly magical. having that option alone makes these worth any amount of ££££.

buy these while you can as they went out of stock when i wanted them.

Finally got this product after my Steelseries Arctis 9X started to fall apart (See my Review on that) first original replacement order was not delivered or stolen from doorstep wherever they left it??

Have to say after setting this up yesterday evening that the build for a Turtle Beach feels great and don't see the same issues happening that I had with the Steelseries, EarCup hinges look better designed and they feel really comfortable. Sound is also really good too and with the Super Real Sound facility when audio is critical in certain games (WarZone etc) it really is pinpointing.

You also have the Turtle Beach Audio hub that allows you to customise aspects of the headset and change volumes, this is a bit complicated but I am sure I will learn how it works better with more use.

Really happy with the headset on first try and once set up correctly I'm sure it will be great.

The fact that it links to the console the same way an official xbox controller does, it's pretty cool, one less USB slot used.

Awesome battery life been using for 15 hours still "medium battery".

Awesome sound, volume goes high enough to hear every single audio cue in game, but not too high that you will go deaf.

Build quality seems fair, so long as you don't stretch the headband outwards over your ears to put it on, should last a few good years if treated gingerly.

Cons
After One single day of ownership, I have treated this headset with absolute care and yet there is something rattling around in the left ear cup, this is when I move my head from side to side I hear it and it's really bugging me.

I have used the Bluetooth function for a phone call, at one point I couldn't be heard and the recipient's voice went all crackly.

I prefer my bass to have a bit of oomph to it, barely noticed the bass, even when it was fully whacked up on audio hub app. but all headsets are like that these days. (anyone remember the X1's? those were the best for bass)

To sum up
I have not used for communicating online in games, so can't attest to how trust worthy a performance these will give.

A fault occurred in the ear cup for no apparent reason.

Turtle Beaches app for customising bass, treble, mic monitoring etc... is a nice touch, but there is so little you can actually customize and to top it off it looks like it isn't well supported by the developer, judging from the 3 star review on Google play.

Had to wait ages for this mediocre headset to be restocked on amazon.

Finally
Quality Control needs a good kick up their backsides and I will be seeking a refund.

If you take the plunge and do buy this headset, that you will not be disappointed as I am.

I have since found out that it is the Bluetooth button that is causing the rattling, not happy but will keep as the problem isn't internal

Last time I support turtle beach but the fact the second dial can be assigned to your phone for Bluetooth device for volume control is pretty cool

Just pray that the voice call I had was a once off... doubtful but hey whatever so long as it is a solid gaming headset
