An eclectic mix: you're bound to find something

A no muss, no fuss movie/tv streaming app.

It's an eclectic mix that works okay for people in Australia (unlike things like Crackle etc. that have almost nothing like what is shown in the pictures in the app store) and I was quite impressed actually with the amount of daggy old 90s LGBT movies they have available including some that I consider classics and are difficult to find on DVD (Latter Days for example).

Zippy UI and menus and it runs fast enough on the FireTV basic and has the usual 'my list' to save things you're interested in. Doesn't have much in the way of the latest and the greatest but you're not paying for it and I've experienced no ads so I've got no complaints.

Yes, there are ads, but not many and they are very quickly viewed. I recommend giving it a try. What have you got to lose? It's free.

Likes:- Was easy to sign up for. Downloaded and signed up via Amazon Fire Stick. Good colour and sound and quality of picture. I investigated and found out what type of movies and TV productions were available and so I was not disappointed with what I have received. Many of the films tend to be B grade and/or old movies that probably would appeal to old movie film buffs and bring back memories to those of us who are getting on in years. The films are sorted into their genres which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. I found the adverts were played at reasonable intervals and only 1 or 2 at a time and therefore were not annoying ... Overall I enjoy searching through all the old movies and the B grade movies. I haven't found any modern day blockbusters yet and I am not expecting to find any but I knew that before I signed up. Not having to provide credit card details and pay a subscription are big pluses too ...

This is a free, advert-supported movie app, so you will get commercial breaks. The choice of titles is eclectic and not really of the blockbuster variety. it does reward patience in clicking through the whole list in any given category.
As a previous critic noted, it is infested with movies from the deliberately trashy Asylum studio, which are well worth avoiding. However, there are some genuine cult classics too, and any fan of 'Mystery Science Theater 3000' or 'RiffTrax' will recognise some old favourites. There's an interesting selection for martial arts film buffs too.
I'd call this app a hit, but it really depends on your particular cinematic bent. Give it a try; if their catalogue isn't to your taste, uninstall. It won't have cost you a penny.
