Product Description

Lennon Barrick-St. James is making headlines as New York City’s hottest new socialite. Only she isn’t new at all. One well-intentioned night gone horribly wrong has landed the daughter of vice presidential candidate Christopher St. James on the front page of every newspaper and magazine in the country.

Forced by her father to stay out of the limelight, Lennon flees to the quiet town of Heaven, Texas, where she vows to lie low and avoid men. Well, except for the sexy biker she just ran off the road—she definitely won’t be avoiding him.

Noah Cunningham already has one girl in his life, and he sure as hell doesn’t need another. Especially the beautiful and sinfully sweet angel that just descended upon the quiet little town he calls home.

The only problem is that the more time he spends with Lennon, the more he wants to be with her. And that’s just not going to work for Noah. He’s already been burned once, and he’s not so sure he’s ready to go down that road again.

Noah has spent the last five years putting his life back together after secrets and lies ripped it apart. So what will happen when he learns the truth about Lennon?

This story had me intrigued from the first page, needing to know what the truth was that Lennon was hiding. The chemistry between Noah and Lennon was off the charts and the way Lennon fell for his little girl Nova was enough to warm your heart and soul. A girl who had never wanted for anything in her life and a guy who had had to work hard for everything he had. Lennon wanted what Noah had. Will Lennon's truths be exposed before she can explain. This story shows you pure love that rocks your heart and soul. It has some funny moments, steamy scenes and some absolutely beautiful moments. Big five star read for me that will warm your heart on those cold nights.

Lennon (Leni) Barrick-St James is headed to the small town of Heaven, Texas to put some distance between herself and her past. With recent events causing too much scandal for her prospective vice-President father, her escaping from the limelight was agreed to be the best course of action for all, but that's not her only reasoning for acquiescing to their plan. She's also on a journey of self discovery. Renewing and re-imagining herself apart from the strictures her parents have always expected her to fit into.

It seemed like a good plan, right up to the point where, before even making it to the town limits, so startled by the scenery she inadvertently runs a motorcyclist off the road. Not the most subtle of ways to meet a guy, but it does have the advantage of him not being able to run away.

Caught up in the novelty of not being recognized for her relationship with her politician father and actress/socialite mother, Lennon falls into the trap of keeping her identity, and her shame a secret, relishing in being appreciated for who and what she chooses to present, and not what's been said about her in the media.

Of course it's a recipe for disaster at some point, but what a sweet recipe it is. Lennon is the perfect combination of naivete and worldliness, experienced in the world of high society and gala fundraisers, but held spellbound by the captivating grace of one little girl.

Contrasted with her we have Noah, the tatted up biker type who confounds stereotyping by being the poster child for single father of the year. Doting upon five year old Nova, Noah is fiercely protective, even if it means keeping the only woman who's captured his attention in all that time from her.

Wow what can I say this was my first book that I've read by Grayson and I was blown away it engrossed me from the first words until the last (and that made me sad I could have kept reading). I love a book that will peak all your senses and keep you interested by sucking you into that world and this little beauty did just that, I laughed and cried all the way to the end. I'd love to see more from the characters of
Heaven, Texas maybe more of Lennon, Noah and Nova or even a new romance for Mikey and Charlotte.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and charming 22 February 2017

Sweet and charming, this tender romance is filled with precious moments reflecting the established relationship Nova has with her father and the emerging one she builds with Lennon. Clever repartee, and great friends juxtaposed with those who don't even deserve the title, and family ranging from perfectly loving if a litle awkward to utterly dysfunctional round out the setting.

K.L. Grayson doesn't skimp on the emotion, both as things are coming together, but even more so when things inevitably fall apart, and I for one couldn't put it down. This standalone told from dual points of view hits all the high notes for my money and I'm just left wishing it were longer ... much longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Where You Truly Belong!!! 22 February 2017

Lennon Barrick-St. James was a socialite who was making headlines and being the daughter of vice presidential candidate Christopher St-James all eyes were on her. Especially when Lennon found herself in some hot water after she tried helping someone she thought was a friend and things went terrible wrong.

Lennon was forced by her father to stay out of the spotlight, she does the only thing she could. She left New York and headed to the small town of Heaven, Texas. Lennon vowed to stay low and away from men well that was until she met the sexy as sin biker she ran off the road.

Noah Cunningham was a single father to a five-years-old daughter by the name of Nova. He didn't had time to date cause the only woman he had time for was his daughter. Well all that changed when he met the sexy, beautiful and sassy Lennon Barrick-St. James, his world was turned upside down.

Lennon wanted to help Noah heal but he kept pushing her away, his attitude hurt her in more ways than she thought. Loved how strong she was despite what her family and friends in NY thought, Lennon was a force to be reckoned with.

Contrary to what he said Noah wanted to get to know Lennon as much as she wanted to get to know him. The attraction between those two was undeniable and fierce. Noah was fighting his feelings. Eventually he gave in and realized that Lennon was the piece that was missing in his life.

Lennon met Nova and both of Noah's girls hit it off instantly. Lennon was falling in love with Noah bit by bit and vice versa. Those two were steamy, alluring and breathtaking.

Loved how Lennon was easily accepted by those close to Noah. It would be a delightful treat to see the secondary characters get their own stories. I was pleased when Mickey and Charlotte were the voices of reason when Lennon and Noah were fighting their attraction for each other.

When Lennon's past caught up with her it came as a blow to Noah, the latter was angry which was understandable given his past. When the dust settled, Noah and Lennon found themselves more in love than ever.

THE TRUTH ABOUT LENNON is a beautiful standalone romantic novel by K. L. Grayson. It was a wonderful, fun, mind-blowing and smoking hot journey. K. L. Grayson had me kooked frome the first line until I read those two famous words...THE END. Five fan-freakin-tastic stars!

Shes a big city girl running from a past that was thrust on her.

He's a small town boy who has a dark past that he will do anything to protect his daughter from.

Lennon is sent to live in the small town of Heaven, Texas. When she happens upon Noah, a small town mechanic that wants Lennon to stay away.

Lennon and noah have a dynamic chemistry from the first time they meet and things heat up fast!!

When the past catches up with her, will Noah be able to accept her or will he let her fall with no one to catch her.

The Truth About Lennon will have you sucked in from the beginning, you will noy want to out it down. I read this in a matter of hours, its that good. This story will leave you feeling many different emotions, sad, happy, excited and more. It was very well written and was an attention grabbing story. Check it out, i promise you will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5+ stars for Lennon! 22 February 2017

Wow. KL Grayson is a new author to me (don't you just love finding new authors!?). After reading The Truth about Lennon, she's definitely an auto-buy.
This book was fun, light, easy to read, easy to fall into, easy to get carried away in.
Lennon - love the name. Loved her character. She has to escape NY and finds herself in Heaven, TX. She is expecting to hide out for a bit but doesn't expect to stumble into Noah Cunningham. I liked seeing Lennon's character grow while she was in Heaven. She really became the person she wanted to be.
Noah - sigh. He's everything you want in a male/alpha lead. Rides a motorcycle - check. Good with his hands - check, he owns an auto shop!
The story has it all. Fun and funny parts. Lennon and Noah are too cute together. The side characters are perfect. Loved Charlotte, Mikey, and Nova.
Looking forward to more from KL Grayson!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another amazing book by K.L. Grayson 22 February 2017

K.L. Grayson has written some of my all-time favorite books so she’s turned into a must read, one-click author for me. When I agreed to read The Truth About Lennon for review, I actually didn’t know what the synopsis was and although I had an arc, I pre-ordered the book on Kindle. Now that I’ve read the book, I’ll probably end up springing for the paperback too because I loved it so much.

Noah is one of those book boyfriends that you can’t help but fall in love with, even when he’s gruff and cranky and pushing Lennon away. He is the perfect match for Lennon, he’s down to earth and doesn’t know who she is. Lennon’s perfect for Noah too. She’s fun, speaks her mind and exactly what he needed to brighten up his life a bit.

This book is so full of feels. It’s pretty obvious where the drama is going to come from, but that didn’t bother me at all. I loved the journey these characters went through together and separately. The both needed to learn something about themselves before they could get their happily ever after. My heart was up and down and so freaking happy by the end of this book. I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to read what K.L. puts out next. I’m kind of hoping maybe there will be a Charlotte and Mikey book. I loved them and what great friends they were. I highly recommend this book to everyone!
