This book actually touched on some really nice issues, however the looks like actor/actress references were beyond annoying. It really convoluted the story. If a person as a stand out feature that's relevant say that. There is no need to tell me who every person looks like when I don't know the "famous" person nor am I interested in researching. them further. My imagination works just fine.
There's an editor mentioned in the acknowledgement so I won't be too critical, but there were several times when it was not clear who was speaking. I reread the paragraph/page thinking I missed something and it's just not there.
***possible spoiler alert****While I wonder if the Tahj and Daesha will ever get together I simply don't know if I can get through the next book unless it pops up for free as the sample shows that the same style of writing continues.

About the Author
Sara was born and raised in Southeast Georgia. She currently resides in Georgia near the Florida line with her husband Elijah and their two dogs Diva who is a blonde long haired Chihuahua (and lives up to her name!) and Caesar who is a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Mix.. She has been writing things from her imagination since 1989. This first novel is based on a short story Sara wrote in 1997. Since 2009 she has been revamping this short story into a novel striving towards publication.. The idea was instilled in her by the encouragement of a few girl friends whom she has acknowledged. Her vivid imagination began to flow as she began to think about past and present issues from external and internal environmental settings. She doesn't write ordinary romance so she calls is adult fiction which is not for those under 18. Writing is an emotional outlet that Sara uses to relieve stress. English and Literature were her favorite subjects especially in college. Sara's characters are developed from many people within her life. These characters come to life as the author develops an understanding of individuals and feed off of many attitudes, body language, and responses of those around her. She realizes that this gift of visionary creativity has been handed to her from the Lord above. She truly hopes all of you enjoy reading her debut novel Truly Madly Deeply as she works on her next novel. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

Truly Annoying....Reviewed in the United States on 20 February 2014
This was the most annoying book I have ever attempted to read. Every character that was introduced into the story was not described so that I could picture them in my mind but instead they always looked like some celebrity. When I read a book I want to be able to see the characters. In this book I have no clue want the physical characteristics of the characters are because I didn't have a clue as to some of the celebrities mentioned. That was very annoying. Story line was not bad. Cover was attractive. I did enjoy multi-race/multi-cultural aspect of the book. I got this book when it was free because I like to explore new authors but this was a disappointment. Will not purchase any books from this author.

AnnoyingReviewed in the United States on 1 February 2013
While reading this book I kept getting distracted by all the descriptions about the various characters it just started getting nerve wrecking. The only good thing was the price and length. I can't believe she wants 10 dollars for the sequel.

Nice readReviewed in the United States on 18 August 2014
Enjoyed this very much. A lot longer than most novels I read which I like. These relationships became a little confusing, because no one knew what they wanted. Especially Taj. I don't think it's over between Taj and Daesha. About to read part 2 to see.
Perfect example of poor literal skillsReviewed in the United States on 19 February 2014
I'm beyond thankful this book was free. My intentions are not to be mean, but this book was poorly written, long winded and contained too many unnecessary repetitions. Events in the story line seemed jumbled and not well thought out.The comparison of every character in the book to one celebrity or another was quite annoying. The editor of this piece of work should be fired!
