Wilde's wonderfully emotional story showcases sweethearts reunited after years apart. The focus is satisfactorily kept on the main characters, but the secondary ones play their own integral part in the tale.-- "RT Book Reviews (4 stars)"

There was so many hilarious scenes all through out this book that I honestly can not pick just one as my favorite. Never a dull moment in the town of Twilight, Texas lol
I can't wait to read all the other books in this amazing series. Like I have said before in my reviews regarding any books by Lori Wilde........once you start reading a story by her, you just want to read more!!
Sam Cheeks Was Devastated When The only Girl He Had Ever Loved Left Him And No Matter How Many Women His Matching Aunt Belinda Sent To His Vet Clinic He Still Pined For The Girl That Stole His Heart When He Was Fourteen. Now, She Was Back And Nothing Had Changed With Them Except They Were Twelve Years Older But The Sizzle Never Died. Knowing That She Was Only In Twilight For Such Time, Could He Guard His Heart Because He Knew That She Would Leave And Take His Heart With Her Again......
Wow Does Lori Wilde Do It Again In The Continuing Series Of Twilight, Texas! The Ladies Not Knit And Start Trouble But Quilt As Well, And Beau, The Ex-Sheriff Tries To Be Redeemed From His Past Mistakes, Yay Beau! The True Love Quilting Club Is A Must Read And I Can Hardly Wait For The Next Book!!
Lori Wilde has a wonderful way of combining down-home sweetness and small town values with sexy, hot romance; a great combo in my mind. I love her books. I loved this book.
You can get the premise of the story by using the SEARCH INSIDE THIS BOOK option above, read the back cover copy or a sampling from the story or read the product description Amazon provides. Either will give you an idea of the theme of the story. So this is not a synopsis of the story but rather my opinion of it.
The characters feel real - Trixie Lynn Parks (Emma) and Sam are opposites. The saying opposites attract would fit them because their personalities and comfort-zones are completely different. But they were best friends when they were both 14-years old and each never forgot the other. So when they are reunited the attraction is quickly rekindled.
One of the things I enjoy most about a Lori Wilde story is her attention to details and descriptions. You can close your eyes and picture exactly what she is describing and feel what the characters are feeling.
I also generally learn something in her books. For example in this book Lori introduces the reader to the sisterhood of quilting bees and the role quilting played in history. She also respectively acknowledges war veterans.
Sam is a veterinarian with a Border collie named Patches who competes in Sheepdog herding trails. This was a fun and interesting peek into that world especially since I own a Border collie mix, Oreo, who looks very much like the picture of the dog on the front cover of the book.
I highly recommend this book. It's romantic and fun. It's sweet and sexy. Steady Sam and the shining star, Emma will enchant you.
If you haven't read The Sweethearts' Knitting Club you should read it also. Some of the characters introduced in that story are back in The True Love Quilting Club.
Here are some other great Lori Wilde books.
There Goes the Bride
Once Smitten, Twice Shy
Addicted to Love (Wedding Veil Wishes)
All of Me
