Product Description

The Third Book in the Bestselling Redwood Pack Series
Hannah Lewis, a rare earth witch, is taken from the only life she’s ever known. Held at her will by a sadistic wolf, she almost gives up hope that she’d ever see her real life again. But as her fellow captive, a werewolf named Reed, tries to calm her fears, she begins to feel a spark of something she never thought she’d feel – love. But is Reed, alone, enough to get her out of this dark basement so she can move on with her life?

Reed Jamenson, the artist of a werewolf Pack of Alpha males, knows instinctually that Hannah is his mate. Thus, despite their imprisonment, he will do all to protect her and then worry about their hearts. But is he strong enough to find a way for both of them to escape? And why does he feel as though something else is missing?

Josh Kolb, an ex-military human, stumbles upon Reed and Hannah and finds he must trust this new world of supernatural beings to survive. But that desire will lead the three to a triangle of attraction that will test the boundaries they all possess and its consequences in defeating the enemy. Can they all trust one another to save themselves and life as they know it? Even at the cost of their own hearts?

Reed knew when he sent Willow away it would likely spell his end. He never expected his capture would lead to him finding not one but two mates. But can he protect them from the evil that continues to stalk them? I enjoyed Trinity Bound the second in Carrie Ann Ryan's Redwood pack series. Reed has always felt somewhat less than his brothers. He has no specific rank in his pack and other than being one of the alpha's sons, he isnt all that special. But Josh and Hannah see so much more in Reed. I love that Ms. Ryan gave Reed mates who saw more in him then he did. They trusted in him and his abilities. Even as evil struck closer than they knew, Ms. Ryan have Hannah and her two men a bond that carried enormous power. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to where Ms. Ryan will take us next.
5.0 out of 5 stars Three Is Always Better Than Two! 30 May 2017

I loved Reed in the first two books and I was hoping that he would get his own book. This was an amazing read I loved the dynamic between Reed, Hannah, and Josh. As I was reading I was wondering how the relationship would work when Josh didn't even know he was into men I was so glad when everything worked out. This is a definite read if you like hot witches, sensitive wolves and a human whose just demon enough for the both of them.

A trinity is uncommon but not unheard of in this book. A witch, werewolf, and finder/ex SEAL Hannah,Reed and Josh. I liked the overall story. The day to day aspects of pack life were nice. There were several different sex scenes in this story but I thought they were right for the book they moved the story along and showed the progression of the relationships between the characters. This is a true triad where all characters have relationships with the others involved. The dynamic between Reed and Josh was good to see outside of just with Hannah. This is part of the Redwood Pack series.

Oh man, I really wanted to like this story, as the blurb was intriguing. Unfortunately, I found myself buried in redundant explanations, and repeated phrases, which were redundant. Examples: Honey and crisp/bitter apple (17 times), or chestnut corkscrew hair. Redundancies within same conversations and mental dialogs made this a distracting read. Instead of getting involved, I started counting how many times a description was reused rather than the author creating a new one (e.g. instead of honey and bitter apple scent--17 times-- why not sweet and tart or some other phrase?). Great plot, the two male characters had a tendency to use the same words, so there wasn't enough character development for each. Loved the story, but the author needs a better editor to catch the-- you guessed it, redundancies. We won't even get into the misused words. Also, as many times as her "chestnut corkscrew curls" were mentioned, the blond cover model was a final insult to the reader. Would have been a 5-star read with better editing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting. 2 February 2017

I loved this story. What a mix of different types of people and how they have to learn more about each other to make things work. The world could use a little more of this. I also enjoyed the way the trinity was approached. The stigma that a relationship like that would have caused made them all look at things more closely, sometimes that worked against them and gave them enough doubt to cause them some trouble. But like a real relationship you have to work at it to make it work. The dynamics of the relationship and the story kept me on my toes throughout the story.
I am very much looking forward to meeting some more Jamenson's.
