Product Description

From NYT BESTSELLING author Sharon Hamilton and USA TODAY BESTSELLING author Kathryn Le Veque, a novella duet unlike anything you've ever read. Immortal souls, sexy passion, and Navy SEALs collide in this fabulous novella duo, SEAL of Time and The Immortal SEA.

We are brothers, the Sons of Poseidon, though our mothers have gone many eons ago. Given special powers, we are required to protect humanity from the dark forces of the universe that coalesce and then plunge back into the inky pit of evil only to rise up again to be defeated.

My task is to blend in as a normal, common man. But I am not a common man. I bear the mark, and I have worn it proudly, although sometimes I find that calling more difficult than others. However, I’ve never run away from it nor deny the obligation of my birthright.

Oceans and worlds are fully accessible to me. There is only one thing that I am denied: a true love partner. I’ve loved many times, but never for evermore, only for the here and now.

It would be a lonely journey, without mother or family of my own, were it not for my brothers. But the preservation of mankind is a worthy calling, and one I shall do until the end of time, or the end of my time.

I have chosen for these next few years to live as a Navy SEAL, an elite warrior with an elite team of brothers not unlike the Sons of Poseidon.

This is my story.

We have two awesome tails by two different authors that blend the stories together so well and are yet each an individual story.
Seal of Time by Sharon Hamilton bring to life a son of Poseidon and joins him with Seal team 3. It a story about brothers of both the Seal team type and those all belonging to Poseidon and his mission for all his sons, to help out mankind. And let’s not forget about the love story that also takes place.
The Immortal Sea by Kathryn Le Veque is about another Seal team member stationed at Coronado Island, that’s also a son of Poseidon. But has a bit of a different twist.
Both books are awesome stories to read and very entertaining with lots of action and adventure and a love story mixed in with it all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sons of Poseidon find love or do they? 29 March 2017
By Roslynn - Published on

Okay I know Ms. Kathryn Le Veque writes very good exceptional medieval historical romances I think she can’t write contemporary much less paranormal romance stories or that they will be any good. Well Ms. Le Veque proves me wrong yet again. Plus she teams up with another exceptional writer in her own right Ms. Sharon Hamilton known for her military romance stories making for a story that’s wonderful filled with modern day heroes, action, adventure, gods and a love that surpasses time itself. The only problem I see was that both stories were novellas and yes I wanted the stories to be a little longer but I sure wouldn’t mind a son of Poseidon of my very own. I rated the entire set four stars. I’ll review both books briefly and give my rating of each.
Tay while swimming with the dolphins happens to see a man well a half man half machine swimming and is then injured. Tay is a son of Poseidon and a healer he knows he must save the guy plus heal him. Tay’s action leads him to become a modern day hero a Navy SEAL as a swimmer. When Tay meets Marney he can’t resist her allure. Tay wants Marney but does she even want him after she finds out the truth about who Tay really is. I totally just loved Tay he was just an awesome hero strong, funny, handsome and a demigod so what’s not to like? Marney was wonderful for him smart, beautiful, feisty and good for him. I did hope that she becomes like Tay and is able to have a family with him. I rated the story four stars because I felt there could be more.
Corporal Karia Bayne close to the end of her shift sees an amazing sight a man diving straight into the bay. When Karia decides to go after him she is called to a golf course and a possible drowning where she meets Kerk Lesander a man who she doesn’t quite believe his story. No normal man can do that swim the entire bay or can they? Karia is fascinated with Kerk and he with her, is it love. What happens if Karia learns that Kerk is actually the son of Poseidon and can Kerk actually be in love? I couldn’t help but fall instantly for Kerk. Yes he seemed a little cold at first but I understand why I still liked him anyway. Karia seemed a little harsh until she loosened up then became someone I definitely wanted to hang with. I do hope that Luc gets a story someday. I wouldn’t mind stories about all of Kerk’s buddies even though they would just be regular guys. I rated the story four stars not because it wasn’t good I just wanted it longer too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Intriguing, Quck Reads 31 March 2017

The first novella, "SEAL of Time" by Sharon Hamilton, ended a little too abruptly for me. I actually sat there starring at my Kindle saying "What?" I'd give this story 3 stars.

The second novella, "The Immortal SEA" by Kathryn Le Veque, was more developed and the ending was far more satisfying and completed. Kathryn Le Veque NEVER disappoints! I'd give this story 5 stars.

The premise for both novellas was definitely intriguing and I'd enjoy reading more of these; however, full length novels would be preferable. I normally don't waste my time reading novellas because I barely get into it and it is all over. But, that is my personal preference and should not detract from the quality of the collection.

Captivating, mesmerizing, and breathtaking all come to mind with this wonderful novella duet by Sharon Hamilton and Kathryn Le Veque!

Sharon Hamilton is a new Author to me, and her SEAL OF TIME story captured my interest. Our Hero, Tay, and Heroine, Marney, are caught up in a whirlwind romance, quite unexpectedly, they find their soulmate in each other....but obstacles must be overcome for them to arrive at a Happily Ever After...I do not want to give too much of the story away, so I will say you simply must read it to experience the magic! The ending is very satisfying, and left me wanting to read more about this special couple's life together!

Kathryn Le Veque's contribution to this set was a delight! I loved getting to see Kerk Lesander in action in modern times...Le Veque does
such an amazing job with this novella, you can feel the character's undeniable attraction for the other...It is a captivating, exciting, and
memorable read.

Don't miss this spectacular collection!

5.0 out of 5 stars Is love worth giving up immortality? 29 March 2017

The Trident Legacy is a duet of novellas by two terrific authors, Sharon Hamilton and Kathryn LeVeque. The stories are interrelated as in that the H in each, is an immortal offspring of the sea God Poseidon, who are modern day Navy Seals. In each story, the thing each man has to ultimately decide is : Is the love they've found one that's worth losing their mortality?
The first , by Sharon Hamilton, is the story of Tay and Marney. They had a whirlwind meeting and romance in which they fell for each other completely. Tay's special abilities are able to save Marney and others from dire situations in the storyline. Tay also contemplates his past throughout his history versus a future with a mortal woman, and has major decisions to make for both of them.
The second novella, by Kathryn LeVeque told more of medieval knight, Kirk Le Sanders, who as a son of Poseidon, is also an immortal. He has always run from love for fear of losing his immortality, because although it carries certain burdens, it also bring responsibilities. Kirk was a character in another LeVeque novel, and it's great to hear more of his story. Kirk meets a policewoman while saving a drowning boy. Karia, who lives alone with her dog and has had enough of men for awhile, knows that there's something different about Kirk, but she's about to find out how right she is on THAT one!
I really enjoyed the stories, and found the premise of love vs immortality compelling. I think other readers will too. I am hoping both stories will either be expanded or have sequels, or we'll read of future characters from these two stories as both were vastly entertaining. I highly recommend these to romance readers who enjoy contemporary, historical, and just a tiny a bit of the paranormal all mixed in together.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting Immortal Romances with a touch of Magic 29 March 2017

These son's of Poseifen are wonderful adventures of love and super SEAL stories to read. Tay had a mortal mother and of course his father was a sea god. He was honor bound to protect. He was swimming with the dolphins and saw a man get injured and decided to help him. After getting the human away, he took him to shore and after pealing the rubberized covering off, he applied healing plasma and saw tattoo's on the human. Tay found military ID of the U.S Navy and cell phone in the backpack the mortal carried. He put them into his pocket after getting him to the hospital. Three years later Oliver Carlson didn't know he had inspired Tay to join Seal team 3. He joined Oliver's seal team and disguised from them he was a halfling and had gills.Tay's body needed females. His sexual urges was strong, just like his father. He saw a dark auburn-haired woman walking the edge of the surf. He offered Marney some tea to warm her up from the cool air. They spent the night making love and in the morning when she left, she pulled out into traffic and was hit by a large truck. He got her out of the car and applied his healing magic.

Sir Kerkle Sander had to keep moving around after the mortals started to notice he was not aging. He could command the elements. Water, wind, air and fire. We find Kirk in the present day California on Silver Strand State Beach where he meets Cpl. Karia Bayne with the police department. This one will put a smile on your face with the humor. Sharon and Kathryn know how to capture the sense of removal of your normal daily grind. Let them! It will lift you up as nothing else can.
