Great books for those who have been to NYC many times before and want to do and see something different. I bought for a friend who has been many times and she loved the restaurants, parks and events you can see around the city that tourists tend to miss due to all the sightseeing! It goes into all the boroughs too and the one I noted was really interesting was the Brooklyn review of beaches, restaurants and even transport to get out there. Definitely one for the person who has travelled well or just doesn't want to do the tourist sites!
Delivery was fast and well packaged too.

For the nearly resident New Yorker - great book for visiting outside of ManhattanReviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 March 2016

More than the average city guideReviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2016
Interesting guide! Feels like having your own personal local to give you hints and tips on how to get the most out of the city. I am a tourist, so don't be put off if you do want the tourist experience - this book will still give you the basics, it just goes a bit deeper into the real NYC. Who wouldn't want that?
