Product Description

Marcus has his life pretty much figured out at twenty five years old. He’s got his career on track, a nice house just outside of the city, and his lifelong best friend, Hannah, by his side at every turn. The only problem is that he has been fighting with himself to tell Hannah how he really feels. How she’s all he’s been able to think about since he was old enough to have those feelings. What he doesn’t know is that Hannah is facing the same inner battle with herself about him. She fantasizes about a life with Marcus.

Will Marcus or Hannah be able to tell each other how they feel about one another? Will they be able to make a life together or does fate have other plans?

5.0 out of 5 stars Internalized conflict and learning to blame yourself 28 June 2017

I loved this book. I saw a lot of my own relationships in the characters. The plot is easy to follow and the emotional journey was something I could relate to. I liked every character, I didn't feel any animosity towards anyone until the end. There is no particular bad-guy which makes the conflict very internal for the two main characters. I related to Hannah, even though I continued to see her as a rather juvenile girl who didn't recognize other individual's feelings and how her actions affected them. I'm still rooting for her, though I think she will slowly realize that she is at fault for all of the negatives in her life at the end of the novel. I'm desperately looking forward to the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing first book, can't wait for the rest of the series! 28 March 2015

This book was absolutely amazing and captivating! I used this book as motivation to run on the treadmill. I wouldn't let myself read without being on the treadmill. This book definitely made my runs more enjoyable and there were some days I was actually disappointed that my run was done because I had to stop reading. A.M. Wallace did a great job at making the characters believable. I felt as if Hannah and I were going through all of these things together. Marcus and Hannah were very real and down to earth which is something I very much appreciate in a book. The way things happened and how characters related to each other were no different than how it would happen in real life. I can't say enough good things about this book and I can't wait for the next book in the series!

I'm not a fan of reading, however, I finished this book in just two days.... I love the layout, love the story, and further more, love the ambition the author herself has.... I highly recommend this story to everyone....
