A superior murder mystery with believable characters and conflictsReviewed in the United States on 19 September 2015
Marcia Talley's series heroine, Hannah Ives, is a pleasure to spend time with: She's compassionate, inquisitive (well, nosy), articulate, intelligent, involved in life and in her community. Although I've read many others in the series, readers can pick up almost any of Talley's books and enjoy a superior mystery with believable characters, timely issues, and a satisfying conclusion. In this book, Hannah begins volunteering in a continuing care retirement community, where she's introduced to residents and employees whose backgrounds, beliefs, and motivations are different enough to create conflict and, of course, a fascinating -- and unpredictable -- murder mystery. Don't miss this excellent entry in Talley's long-running series! Highly recommended.

You get engaged with the characters before there's a mystery to be solved. One of Talley's best Hannah Ives storiea.

I love her booksReviewed in the United States on 15 November 2014
A great mystery story with a number of mysteries going on at the same time. The story's location in an assisted living facility worked for me.

I have been a fan of Marcia Talley and Hannah Ives from the beginning. This book lived up to what I have come to expect, great writing and wonderful characters.
