Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 2 (Volume 2) Paperback – Illustrated, 18 August 2015
Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way—except their craving for human flesh.
Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-ghoul hybrid. Trapped between two worlds, he must survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society and master his new powers.
Unable to discard his humanity but equally unable to suppress his Ghoul hunger, Ken finds salvation in the kindness of friendly Ghouls who teach him how to pass as human and eat flesh humanely. But recent upheavals in Ghoul society attract the police like wolves to prey, and they don’t discriminate between conscientious and ravenous Ghouls.

I have not personally read them myself but I did have a look at them and flicked through the pages to see some of the content.
The books read as Japanese books do starting from the back to the front.
The books have really good illustrations and from what my son tells me they are fun to read.
My son loves all Japanese stuff and being stuck in at home under lockdown and finishing his A Levels all online; to take a break from looking at screens all the time, it is good for him to sit back and relax and to pick up a great book and read.
