This is probably one of the best manga you'll going to read.
The story mainly follows the life of Ken Kaneki it explores the events leading up to and after his whole world is changed following an incident that sees him transformed into a half Ghoul. In the underbelly of Tokyo, there lives a whole other society made up of Ghouls (eater species), these creatures, for the most part, share a human-like form but also possess superhuman abilities and a predatory organ called a kagune which functions as their weapon most of the time. Ghouls crave and must consume human flesh and organs to sustain themselves failing to do so for more than a month will result in their weakening and ultimately their death. An incident leaves Ken Kaneki near death, to save his life organs from a ghoul are transplanted into his body resulting in the first half-human half-ghoul hybrid. From here onward the story explores Ken Kaneki's struggle to come to terms with his transformation all the while desperately trying to maintain and hold onto his humanity at the same time while being thrown into a completely alien world consisting of ghoul society, warring, and different factions, some good others bad all happening under the noses of the oblivious normal humans. It's an excellent read following the mentioned events of Ken Kaneki's life is really interesting he has it tough, really tough in fact you really feel sorry for the lad. The character development is done very well not only for him but others too so finding an emotional attachment to them easy even for some ghouls also, they're not all monsters and even some monsters don't start out that way. One of the things I love most is the artwork and style of the characters there are a lot and some really unique looking. I highly recommend this one especially now it comes complete for a great price, Enjoy.

I absolutely love the Tokyo Ghoul Anime series, and this manga by Sui Ishida is no exception, I Got this set for around 4900 Rupees which is a killer price tag. The books were in pristine condition and I also received a double side poster. Would recommend y'all to buy this series without any second thoughts.

PS: SUPPORT THE ANIME INDUSTRY.

Its almost been a month and I love it, the manga is a masterpiece, but the best part is yet to come with the next part of the TG saga, Tokyo ghoul re. This series is phenomenal, it has generous amounts of character development for everybody, it has a nice pacing and the story is newits like taking a bite froma divine tasting cake, thatis tokyo houl, and each bite is like a different volume, with different aspects to it, that cant be found anywhere else into his series, overall it's worth it!
