Product Description

Aaron has spent the past ten months alone. When he meets a sad, yet strangely familiar man on a cold Halloween night, he impulsively invites him home. But the intimate connection they share lasts only until morning. Aaron wakes up alone—wracked with guilt and devastated to have lost his chance.

Or so he thinks.

Thanksgiving brings Aaron another shot at happiness, but letting go of an old love and accepting a new one isn’t as easy as everyone keeps telling him. And by the time Christmas Eve rolls around, it becomes clear that Aaron’s not the only one struggling to let himself love again.

Christmas miracles are all well and good, but it’s going to take more than the Holiday Spirit for Aaron to get his happy ever after.

A story of grief, sadness, and letting it go; and finding love when you least expect it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, heartwarming story. 14 November 2016
By Linda Benson - Published on Amazon.com

This was such a beautiful heartwarming story. It began with heartache, moved through indecision and feelings of abandonment and finally into the discovery that life can give you a second chance at finding yourself in love with that special person.
This is a story that gives hope to people saddened by loss. You Can find love again and not live with despair. You Can find that one person who makes you whole and gives you both your HEA.
5.0 out of 5 stars Miracles and Love 9 November 2016

A feel good emotional tale, 'Tis the Season by Alex Jane was a sure-fire winner. Barreling through the lives of Aaron and Dylan Ms. Jane broached the subject of love lost and the feelings of dread during what should be the most joyous time of the year.

Aaron lost his husband and waded through life- a man still attached to the spirit of the deceased. Dylan- on the brink of destruction, lost, after getting out of a bad relationship. What Aaron and Dylan found was common ground in despair and the strength in each other to forge forward.

Ms. Jane spun a tale taking this reader on an emotional roller coaster, hoping for holiday cheer and a miracle happy ending. ‘Tis the Season brought a smile and a tear and the knowledge that good things are around the corner when we open ourselves to the holiday spirit.

5.0 out of 5 stars This novella was full of emotions... 25 November 2016
By Jan-Hendrik Blank - Published on Amazon.com

....it contains grief and sadness and it touches you really hard. What was unexpected was the really good character developements despite the lenght. Normally you have left out parts in the character, in this novella there is really less missing. I am not even sure if a longer novel would have revealed a lot more. Maybe a few things would have been deepend but in this case it isn’t necessary.

It contains a bit steamy sex, but all in all it is not too much. This novella shows how to balance the erotic parts with the honest and earnest ones. :) Definitely a plus for this story. :3

All in all it is really sweet but contains also a bit angst, as I said it is full of sadness. The dealing with loss of a person is a topic, also the feelings of a person who is affected by it.
The questions about this are heavy in some parts and they leave you also thinking about the issue itself. What would you do? It goes unexpected deep.

I totally not regret this debut read for me, I will continue reading books by the author🙂 They are a pleasant read, the character act mature and very thoughtfull in some parts, but they can and are really funny too.

I had so much fun with the minor character for example, so I keep Aaron and Dylan in my heart. As well as Kevin, Joe and Brian.🙂

5 out of 5 stars. Really recommended, give this new author a great chance.🙂
