I rate this watch Princess approved :-)
Other than that bit of a let down, she loves the watch and is excited when someone asks her to check the time. Good price point for a child's first watch. Seems durable and comfortable.
The watch itself was interesting because of the elastic strap which would be much easier than her current buckle-style watchband.
The watch is cute and my daughter likes it a lot since it's pink and it's easy to read. The water resistance has held up to simple handwashing (one of our other ones didn't).
Note - the screen is plastic and scratches easily! You might want to let your kids know they should try to be careful. Also, I thought it would be nice to have a warranty that even covers losing the watch, but since there's a fee associated with the claim, it's actually just cheaper to buy another watch unless you somehow bought this at an inflated price. At the current < $15 price, it's not worth making a warranty claim. So far so good - hopefully this lasts at least a year!
** update **
Purchased a 2nd time. Battery dead again. I went to watch store and got the battery replaced for $6 because I like that this one has different colors for the hour hand and the minute hand as my daughter is just learning how to tell time. Also, this watch is supposed to be water resistant. We haven't tested that yet. Fingers crossed.
